Just got done watching a bunch of episodes On Demand, and i must say, this show is
pimp.gif

But why would these people allow themselves to be put on camera talking to police? Dudes in the hood have cable too. And why do these families allow themselvesto be put on camera for the whole country to see, while they mourn the loss of a loved one? Do they get paid?

"Excuse me miss your son has been murdered. Sorry for your loss. Do you mind if we tape your reaction and post it on national televsion?"

This is a hot show, but there's so many things i dont get about the production of it.

Discuss.

Dudes are wreckless nowadays.

Another thing, these kids NEVER ask for an attorney to be present. They seem to be unaware of there rights.

I love this show.

But it's like a tutorial as to how to get away with murder.

If there isn't substantial evidence, deny everything. Be sincere. Have a good alibi. Don't get shook when they're yelling and trying to squeezeinfo out of you.

Wrong.

Just go in there, and IMMEDIATELY ask for a lawyer.

Crazy how the detectives are never shook by what they see, all in a days work. My girl is always saying getting mad that they show theinformants faces...

Risk going to trial and being found guilty or give them no reason to continue questioning you and walk out the same day?

I have seen maybe 2 episodes where talking gets the person off. Maybe less. 98% of the time all they have is confessions or someone else snitching.

You can even see them get pissed when the person asks for a lawyer right away.

Talking = Fail unless you are really innocent.

that's not always true either...any inconsistency in your story, maybe cuz you forgot or somethin, can make you a suspect...then they'llput the pieces to the puzzle together so you are guilty.

bottom line, don't talk...it's not gonna help.

i'll always remember the google video of the attorney guy talking fast to the classroom full of college students and then the cop talking afterwards aboutrights and stuff... what stands out the most from that is " everything can and WILL be used against you in a court of law"... then you watch a showlike that and the detectives butter these guys up by saying they will help him out and put in a good word.. its just scary how far they will go to get any sortof confession and get them to talk even when they really could have nothing to do with it.. its all NUMBERS and QUOTAS to them.. ive learned a heck of a lotfrom watching this show and being informed by that internet video.

on another note, i too dont understand snitching on camera. how is this show providing anything positive. its a good show but see no reason for it to be on.
