What gives? Should i stop playing it now and just be forewarned that it will def mess up again soon?

Fam i got RROD this morning. I cant tell u how pissed i was. I contacted them today

To answer your question it will mess up again. I got the RROD like 2 weeks ago and it only happened once so i thought it wasnt a big deal. But like i said igot RROD the minute i turned my 360 on this morning
 
well it was three rings and it didnt work for like 6 hours. so i just went to sleep and to work and come home and now it seems to be fine.

yea it will just happen again. when it red rings the heat makes the metal expand causing a loose connection most likely the gpu. when you let itrest the metal retracts back to its place,but its a matter of time when it doesn't matter anymore

a refurb with a better heatsink to dissipate the heat or sometimes they send you another ticking time bomb
 
Anyone know how much that sold for?

I was expecting it to crash and get the RRoD during the demonstration, lol.
 
they will come back. but it can be fixed. I bought mine within 2 months of OG release, got them a year or so later. sent it in, got it back 2 weeks later andhave been fine since. thing is still loud as hell though but I love it
 
Happens to me all the time..I get the RRoD and then I'll let it sit for a week then it will be fine
 
i don't understand why people continue to buy xboxes. not even trying to hate, it just seems like common sense with 1/3 of them failing.
 
U guys who don't have a warranty really need to look up on how to fix it yourself like I did. I was thinking boutposting a tutorial thread on how to do it but just too lazy to do it...

I still have my OG 360 and she works like a champ! But I do intend on getting a PS3 for blu ray purposes maybe some games if there are any I like. Honestly Iplanned on getting the PS3 initially but it got delayed several times and the 360 dropped and it was available for me on release day so I copped.
 
Yeah well i played a game of Team Fortress 2, dominated some little !+#+%@% and then it died again on. Im gonna retire this ones jersey and hopefully get abrand new one.
 
I fixed mine manualy today. Its a bi%$# though. Theres a real good video on youtube if I can find it.
