, wow, that was funny.

also, why should they take care of your bill? YOU dropped the phone, not them.

he's salty that the ol "IM CANCELING MY SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!" threat did absolutely nothing

dude is mad because he can't take care of his stuff. i swear, we have some of the most comical characters on this website

i'm not on at&t, but someone who has an iphone told me there is no insurance option. is that true?

OP, no one to be mad at but yourself. try taking care of your things and i guarantee your phone won't mess up. i've had the OG iphone and 3G sincetheir respective launches, not one problem. apple shouldn't be liable for that, if they were, people would break their phones on purpose to get a new one.

^I'm sorry, while I'm at it, I should probably lay my n**s on a dresser and bang them with a spiked bat when my cable gets messed up, and stab mytongue witha rusty screwdriver when my Xbox Live disconnects, because when that storm rolls in I'll be damned if I'm out there shielding the powerlines with my body.

I had a similar problem, except I never used my Iphone except for music, and one day I was using it and a message came up saying, "repair needed."Completely out of the blue! Apple store said I was a month out of warranty so they wouldn't do anything for me... I really did cancel ATT at that point andthey comped me ANOTHER month (2nd one because they were giving crappy signal out here) and dropped my cancellation fee to $50.

Before you take the L (if you haven't already), try restoring it from the iphone.

It may not matter, but I too was caught in this perpetual restore until I did it from my itouch (not an iphone, but they basically operate the same).

GL.

Since this will be your 2nd visit, they'll most likely replace it with a brand new iphone. I don't see how threatening your service could help whenapple support is helpful as it is.

i gotten my iphone replaced around 8 times in the last year

Oh wow.....seriously trying too hard. You take the L along with the OP

They offered you a replacement. You're out of warranty and there is nothing they're gonna do for you no matter how much you complain. If you were inwarranty, they would have straight up given you a brand new one no problem. Besides, they don't care if you cancel your service, you're telling peoplewho have no vested interest in you keeping your service(apple) that you want to cancel.
