This is what I do with my shoes. I can't put the heel part in the front cause my toes are too big and it will cause a discomfort for me. I took a old pair of AF1's and I took out the insoles in the shoe. I cut the front area of the insole, so that it would fit on top of my toes while my foot is in the shoe. I like the thinner part cause it doesnt feel like I have it in the shoe. The thicker part is discomforting to me. Even my creased 1's don't look creased when I put the insole in the shoe. It's a great idea! My Brooklyn 1's still look new!

does the heel part of thte cup fit directly into the toes??? so does that mean your toes will be ON the THIN part of the gel??

-In 1987, I was born-Pippen was drafted-The Air Jordan 2 was born (and it doesn't matter if it's the OG or Retro)-Michael Jordan won the Slam Dunk Contest-Michael Jordan scored 40 points or more in 9 consecutive games-Michael Jordan averaged 37.5 ppg
-Well Mars, How'd the hell did he do that? Man, it's gotta be the 2's!

ok this is what you do...

take out the insole. take one of these gel pads and place it at the front of the shoe on the bottom. then put the insole back ontop of it.

this has been selling veryyy well @ the finishline i'm at. :wow:

This is how I cut my old insoles. I cut the front region of the insole.

This is how it's gonna look once it's in your shoe. It should fit right on the top of your toes.

Thanks for the pic...
I will try it out..Hope this can keep my kicks fresh...

Does it cause discomfort because if it does.. It will mess up ( your feet (and/or your posture) in the long run.. If not then wow nice find but I for one have worked at Finishline and know that they will try a lot of different things to try and sell "accessories" (socks, insoles, cleaners) so that they will raise their "numbers" (stats of sales)... Just my two cents!

Again like I said, if there is no discomfort and it works, disregard my post.

the cut heel-cup or toe-cup goes upside down over your toes in the shoes? That sounds really uncomfortable. Or do you does it go rightside up and you put your toes over it? This is obviously akin to brain surgery.

sweet04nicoLe : thats 100% wrong. you put a heel cup in your shoe.

this is what you need.

By me using the thinner part of the insole, I dont feel any discomfort. To each it's own. However u do it, if it works it works. My way is cheaper and since i have big toes the larger heel cup will cause me discomfort.

I dont actually put it above my toes. I put it in the shoe first and then I put my foot in the shoe with the insole stuck in the front of the shoe. The end result is the liner being above my toes which adds an extra layer that helps reduces creasing. What helps also is your walk.

It does work and it's not uncomfortable....I copped a pair of Gels yesterday and the joints do work....
