^ Seriously. those customs are pretty clean. I saw the purple midsole and immediately thought it was 'Kobe' inspired PE's. Customizers are gonna have a ball w/ these... Can't wait to see what else people end up doing.

easily copped saturday afternoon. but i cant wait til they get discounted so i can get another pair to customize.
 
easy pass. went to the employee store on launch date and they had a good run left. the display didn't even have the "no backstock available" tab. at check-out (bought some stuff for my daughter) a dude was like "you're not getting your pures? i only have 700 of them left." the sarcasm was quite funny on his end.

i like these shoes. used the 20% off from NDC and then had $70 in gift cards, so i got them for approx $45 with tax/ship.
 
was at southland mall on sunday and these were readily available. woulda copped a pair but I'm still disappointed with the leather quality. if they had the butter soft tumbled leather they defiinitely would have been Pure $
 
i wore them to school today. Got home and checked for creases NONE at all, everything is fine, but the sole is about as black as this backround :lol:

long jeans dye fade on the shoe. yellowin patent leather. yellowin rubber piece on the back were the jumpman is.dirty black soles. yellowin elephant print. $123.00. cheap @#%$ laces & leather.
 
The way that the elephant print has a pink hue to it, I wonder if there was a mistake in the coloring process of the shoe. Kinda like when you wash a red shirt with your whites and it turns everything pink. There is no way that JB meant for the elephant print to have a pink tint.
 
Can't wait to start seeing the customs come out. Anyone have any idea of what kind of paint to use for these? I'd definitely be a guinea pig for the cause
 
One thing I don't get is why people think this shoe contributes to what some call "the bastardization of classics" by JB. I didn't get a pair myself, but I don't think its a bad or horrible shoe. It's a basic and sound color scheme, and not crazy like other retro+'s that people count as a contribution from JB's killing of a classic. Just because it's not OG shouldn't lead to people complaining that JB shouldn't be releasing these. It's a good shoe, and does wonders for customization.

Yeah they run true to size, and I wore mine a couple times and there isn't any too bad creases so no they don't crease as bas as the IVs.
