*****Official Cardinal VII and Flint Grey VII Post*******

i always order online first see if i can somewhat get a pair... then i go out and wait in line because i like having my joints the same day.
 
i ordered a pair off finishline.com also... picked up a pair of Flints Saturday morning just in case, called into Finishline and tried to cancel and couldn't because they said it was already being sent to the shipping department ready for shipment so I guess they'll be sent out Monday?
 
I trusted eastbay and here is what happened:

I attended Senior Ball Friday night so I didn't get up until early afternoon. I checked eastbay, placed the Cardinals in my shopping cart, saw that the White/Red XIV's are 119.99 now, so picked up a pair of those also to save a little on shipping. Checked out no problem, got email confirmation and everything.

Late last night, I checked my order status online, my Cardinal VII's got canceled. I call them and the lady says there is nothing they can do because they sold out in every size. I asked her shouldn't the checkout process not go through if they sold out, she just kept saying it's not their fault.

I was disappointed, so I asked her if I can go ahead and cancel my XIV's, she said no because they're already getting ready to ship, eventhough it's saturday night, and they never ship Sundays.

A little pissed, I asked her since I used giftcard to purchase these shoes, would the $135 get credited back on my giftcard. She says no, now I get some kind of "credit" with them, that I cannot use online. I MUST call them via phone and tell them that I have this credit to use it. I was like @#%$? Why can't they just put that back on my giftcard? She transfers me to customer service rep.

I asked the 2nd lady if there is anything I can do or they can do, she says she will offer me 10% discount on the next purchase, on anything that can be discounted (not Jordans). I told her eastbay sends me emails with 20% off coupon codes all the time, basically saying they are not really doing anything, she's like yeah.

sorry to hear that. Eastbay always have problems in updating their sites. i think your best bet now is either ebay or if u know some one in the asia to help u and even with shipping cost is +/- 10usd from hk compare to retail+shipping in the states.
 
I was suprised on ho wmany people chose the Flints over the Cardianls, nonetheless, both are hott!

funny, i feel the exact opposite. i am thrilled they are retroing the OG's. i always find it kinda sad seeing the retro plus colorways..

Yea they run true, with minimal room at the toe. A half size smaller wouldn't hurt, but I'd go with the true.

eastbay defintely fell off... i checked my status for the backorder charms n they canceled that too... its like why they even put it on the site for backorder if they not getting them... give people false hope... i honestly can care less about not getting the charms cuz i save money on my credit card bill but its more about the principle....
 
i already missed up my flints VII i think I wore them to the Texas Beach Party yesterday and got home last night to clean them and box them forever but i have water spot on my suade is theere anyway to ge that off with some cleaner?
