Man I just picked up a pair of the white at Kicks in LA no line and they still have a good size run. These shoes are so comfortable especially with the heel inserts. I am gonna have to keep these on all day.

I'm curious about how many folks are buying these strictly to ball in and how many are buying these for casual wear or both.

I'm got them strictly for ballin'..they'll touch nothing but hardwood until they're so worn out I get something else to play in.
 
I actually like the white ones but im not paying that much for a pair of shoes at my age. I used to, but not anymore. As for those red ones, I guess if you like red shoes they are cool but they look hideous to me. Is there going to be a white/UNC colorway and if so I havent seen the pix, have you?
 
First pair of non retro Jordans that I have picked up since the black/red 16's. It was very nice to see Jordan Brand get back to basics.

SOME STORES GOT THEM ALREADY AND THEY ARE SELLING THEM. I THINK THE SHOE IS NOT WHAT IT IS HYPED TO BE THE RED SUEDE WILL ONLY 1. FADE TO A LIGHTER RED BECAUSE OF BEING HIT BY WATER. (U HAVE TO CLEAN THEM). 2 HARD TO KEEP THEM CLEAN DURING THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. IF DROPPED IN THE SUMMER THEY WOULD BE GREAT. BUT FOR NOW THEY CAN SIT AT THE STORE AND COLLECT DUST.

AND I SEE PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PRICE SAYING THEY LOOK TO PLAIN. MAINLY THE HOTTEST J'S THAT CAME OUT ARE KINDA PLAIN. THE PRICE IS NOT ON THE LOOK. THE HIGH PRICE IS FOR THE TECHNOLOGY THE SHOE HAS

Looks and quality are two different things. A Bentley might look like a Chrysler 300c but you sure as hell wont get the same quality in materials and in function. The XVIIs were about 200 bucks when they came out and all you got was a metal box and a CD. Here youre getting new technology. Technology that actually adds to the value of the shoe. Interchangabe heel pods are very innovative. Yes 175 is a lot for a shoe, but thats the MSRP. There are a lot of store out there that are selling it for less and sometimes way less that 175. You simply just have to shop around and in some cases wait for the price to go down. People will always use the price as an excuse to down any shoe, but some collectors have paid close to double that much for retros with technology of the 90s.

It doesn't seem like these are blowing out the stores like some predicted. I think in a couple of weeks I'll be able to get these for about 100 in Philly. I might cop the red ones next week since I love the color. I'm going to use mine to ball in because like somebody said I don't really think these look all that good. I wonder if those pods really do something or is it just a placebo effect. Guess I'll find out soon enough.

I just copped mine from PYS. I hope they get here soon. I copped an 11. Which is my actual size. I've read that they are close to true to size. So, that's why I copped an 11
 
Can anybody tell me if JB is gonna release these XXI's. They aren't on the release date and they weren't in the samples that snuggles provided. This is the only colorway I was thinking about coppin, but if not, I'll just go ahead and drop $120 for the Navy/White Lebrons. Any info is appreciated.

How is the quality on everyones XXIs? Mine are great but there are small black marks on one of the toes.

I got a few glue stains but nothing too bad, i'll jsut use the suede cleaner i had to get for the glue stains on the last shots lol. black marks always come off with some water.....

I picked mine up this morning. I couldnt pass on these. And yes that is da huge box on my head, so i guess im a Jordan box head.

Jpoy dat black stuff comes off easy, da manager at Footlocker took it off b4 i walked out da door.
