for all of you who have been miss informed. the red/blk XXI's came out yesterday. i know it has been said that they don't release until the 25th, but, i happen to work at a place where i can gaurantee you they would NOT put a shoe out before the launch date!!!!! thats why i have both colors now. because they were launched yesterday.

your store may have released them then but that is not the official release

like i said i picked mines up froma footlocker who had both the white and reds on display a whole 2 + days before the 18th.. sat morning i go like 15 min after they open, they try to ring up the reds and the computer is giving them an error, [two managers at the register by the way] , they realise that they fd up big time and they arent even supposed to be released

i didnt even have to ask twice if i was getting my pair or not, he wernt ahead and rang em through then had the other dude take down every red xxi in the store..

so i know positively they werent SUPPOSED to be released yesterday..

Dude asked if "anyone thinks they will sell out", and all I said was "NO", then some dude immediately says somethin' about "...im not too sure about that, i seen mad people with bags of em". The only people taintin' this thread are the ones posting pics of their pair when we've seen em a million times already.

Fallin' for the hype? Its called bein' smart. When was the last time a non retro Jordan release DIDN'T go on sale? Basically since the 11s in 95, and the Blk/Red 16s in 00' (which took a few weeks), ......the 12's, 13's, 14's, 15's, 16's (other colors), 17's, 18s, 19s, 20s, and now these will def. drop on sale. Even your beloved Stealth and QS 20s hit the outlets for 79.99.

Other than that it has nothing to do with fallin for the hype. I think the shoe is very nice, but the $175 price tag is NOT WORTH IT.....and its not a matter of not bein' able to afford it, cause trust me I COULD. I'm doin' those UNDECIDED people a favor by tellin' em to wait it out, cause some of you dudes seem like you'd do anything for/to Michael to get him some sales.

If you don't like what I have to say, the skim past it, its a message board where people write their opinions. Like I said, my replies are for those UNDECIDED CATS who are basically asking whether its worth it to scoop up a pair right now, and all I do is simply tell em its not and ya'll kids take things personally.

All I know is that once Footlocker 50% rolls in a week or 2, i'll def. cop some Kobe's and AJ 21s. :lol:

Well, I think the shoe is awesome. I also am ordering from PYS. I hope they ship soon. I bought the white/red/silver ones. Can't wait.

i don't know bout ya'll, but i had to take out those red laces. i stole the laces from my DMP XIs and they fit perfectly. I think i needed that because everytime i see my DMP i wanna put those XIs on. those damn soles!
somebody asked me if i thought New Orleans was coming back.

Don;t question what I can afford and what I can't, cause you don't know the half of what I own, but thats an irrelevant issue to this thread so I'm not gonna play your game and start drifting off. The 20s (which many VETS on here can back me up on) hit outlets as B Grades, my boy Rome alone copped 10 pairs of Stealths and I got 5, and the QS 20s were 89.99 for a while in Modells, thats just one example.

My post wasn't even directed at anyone in particular, just helpin' some people make a decision since there will always be kids that are unsure, but don't come at me sideways just cause I spend my money more wisely than you do and i'm voicin' an opinion, a VALID one at that.

I must admit. I absolutely hated these shoes up until today. When the pics first leaked...I was actually disappointed in JB (doesn't happen too often w/ me). I thought they were ugly as hell :x

But I received my SOLE magazine yesterday in the mail and decided to go "check" them out at my local FA today. Once I got there...I fell in love w/ these joints. To those that don't like them from the pics...trust me when you see them in person it changes. After collecting for almost 13 years now, this is the first time I absolutely hated a "new" AJ only to fall in love w/ it once it released.

Now the red XXIs are a little too "bold" for me but I definitely will have the black lows. Big ups to JB, you scored on another one. Now I just wonder how they'll do in sales b/c I had no problem getting them here 1 day later. And I wear a popular size (11). If they do happen to hit the sales racks, I'll have to get another pair.
