Did you lose any friends in 2008?

I lost two of my best friends in the later end of 2008. First, I lost my best friend in college, and the pain is slowly starting to go away. I also lost mybestfriend since middle school. Was 2008 as horrible for you as it was for me when it fcame to losing people you care about? P.S. I don't mean death. Ijust mean growing apart from someone.
 
Most of my high school friends. I'm fine with it. They haven't matured since graduation.
 
Ima say what I tell everyone whos "lost" someone. Never forget them and they aren't lost, they live through you now.
 
I'm together with most of my dudes.. some i dont really see as much ever since i went away to college and back now.. but for the most part not really.

I've lost one friend from HS and I graduated the same year as him. He was real smart like me though. Back in March, he was driving his truck until an 18wheeler hit the driver's side of his vehicle at an intersection and caught on fire. I even joined a Facebook group dedicate to his memory.

Yup. We lived together for about a year too. Dude was best friend in high school. !+%# is sad. I'm straight though, because i'm the only one beingmature about it. But oddly enough, i've grown closer to my best friend from middle school this past year I when I was living with the best friend from highschool.
 
I lost two friends. The first one just stopped calling but whenever I would call him he would never pick up the phone. He never picked up the phone anyway. Theother one accused of me of stealing weed from the blunt when I was breaking it up. He "lost respect for me". It doesn't matter though. One hastoo much pride and the other one is dumb.
 
My sister best friend died on July 4th. This her homie from grade school. She had a baby month before she died also and she the godmother.
 
I almost lost my good homie but worked that all out. I pretty much cut all ties with most the heads from highschool, realized none were really friends atall.
 
I really only lost one...everybody in that circle of friends decided to demote him to an associate because dude was kind of shady.

back on topic, i only have a handful of "friends" anyway so i didn't lose any of them.
but i did lose contact with a few of disposable associates.

word to joe budden:

i got another side i never showed to you,
the side where everybody is disposable.
see, relationships are never a threat
cause i'll erase the history and act like we never met.
become done giving a f... and done calling...
 
I stopped talking to my cousin. I despise repeating advice more than three times, I can't stand people who expect something out of me that they themselveswon't do, and I can't stand drama queen behavior anymore.
Outside of that I always keep in contact with my friends but never hang out because I never really stay in one location for long.
2009 will be a better year.
 
My boy came over to my house and went to use the bathroom and at the time my toilet was soft and coldnt handle the D's i was droppin. We blazed and he wentto use the bathroom and came out with a blank face and didnt wanna talk. I went in the and saw two fat logs floating and i lol'ed. He bounced like a minitlater and has never talked to me since. Been about a year or so but he still my boy.
