i know this might be a disgraceful question to all jordan collectors .... but i have no clue wut they stand for ..... can someone educate me?

Sorry you thought it was ie but its Air Jordan 11 LE which stands for limited edition. It is the Original lowtop that was released in two colorways back in the day with the mesh panels. Dont beleive me-- any one got the original kicks mag from slam with all the nikes ever made? check that and stop givin faulse info when you dont really know. Ask EKIN if I m right. 1

its I.E and it was aprt of the shoe description , it says:
air jordan low I.E
the colorcode was: white/light grey - cobalt
people made up the LE stuff cause they sold so poorly , so they could get them outta their stock they said its LE and not IE.
trust me , not limited edition in this one , jsut a rumor that became "knowledge" , although i dont know why nike out the IE in the shoe-name , maybe pat got some info , or even scones ?

Yo cogneeeto, that's a lot of words in caps for someone who's dead wrong. Here's a couple of pics from eBay auctions....the first is for the XI low in black and red. The second is for the white and grey.
Can you tell me where it is that you see the letters LE????? I don't see them anywhere. (unless you count the "L" from Low and "E" from red) I do however see an IE at the beginning of the color description of the white pair....strange.
And by the way, we all know what they are, we've just never got a definitive answer as to what I.E. stands for...and it is I.E.

Im dead wrong huh thats not the LE? It was put toghether by our vice presedent of special projects T. Hatfield. It is listed in Nikes International Book of Numbers as the Air Jordan 11 LE. Need more proof from a dead wrong guy call 503- 671 - 6330 and please this is nike talk not nike hate.

It's I.E., not LE. I have a pair, on the box it says the name of the outlet, and the price tag reads $24.99.

There is no place where the box says LE, NO PLACE ON THERE!!! That is only the Box Tag from China, the Box Tag from Taiwan also doesn't not have the LE on there.
The Box Tag for the Black/Red XI Low. There is NO PLACE where it says LE. SHOETRENDS is ABSOLUTELY WRONG. SLAM MAGAZINE is ABSOLUTELY WRONG.

Use Slam and Kicks as a resource, but not as a bible. They are far from mistake-free.

Heck, we've made mistakes at SLAM before and we'll probably make them again. I agree that it's "I.E." After all, it's in the color code line, not following "Air Jordan Low." Still like to know what it stands for.
I've been thinking about wearing my DS white/grey pair soon...or maybe I'll wait for the reissues and keep those DS.
