agreed... michael bay has screwed yet another movie up... let's just say, the old tmnt movies, with a better looking april o'neal and making the turtles move more fluently and faster, and darker/grittier would make that movie so much better than the garbage that michael bay is putting out...i just dont like how the turtles look.. if you're gonna change the way they look, and the entire storyline, call it something else.. dont use the same name.. just like he did with transformers... movies like this dont need a reboot, especially if the blueprint was already a success, only thing they needed to do was make use of that blueprint and add more stuff from the tmnt universe to it! nothing else..

F*ck michael bay and his garbage movies
 
While the new trailer showed more of their personalities, the turtles still look dumb as hell and it feels like a transformer movie still.

I LOVE TMNT as do my kids so I will see this it better deliver or I'm at Bay's crib personally

I just hate the way Donnie and Mikey look but the potential is there, especially if the action is good which I'm pretty sure will be leaps and bounds better than the 90's trilogy

Martial arts action? Or explosions and gun fights action? Michael Bay isn't known for martial arts flicks.

Both. I know Bay isn't that big on hand to hand combat flicks but after this new trailer I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming they'll be some cool action scenes in there (Donnie spinning his staff and deflecting bullets is so ill) I mean these are the NINJA turtles, he knows what he signed up for

...but let it be known that if this movie sucks, I'm leading the charge on his home.

That's the mindset everyone should have. Nobody owes us a "correct" movie :lol:

If a movie sucks it sucks. It doesn't take away from the original movies or cartoon or comic book, it is what it is. Heck, the OG cartoon we all love along with everything that came from it took a huge dump on the OG comic and I do t see anyone bringing that up :lol:

hopefully the "robot samurai" vernon mentioned is a small mini villain to lead to the real deal

I agree, what sucks though is that it shows companies that "people are showing support with their dollars" and that's why we're on 4 turds of a movie for that franchise.

True, but the way I see it is if you see the movie or not the movie will still take in enough money to warrant sequels and such.

And then think about what we're paying for. If you were entertained, you're good. If people are look for compelling drama and a well thought out screen play......... And walk into a ninja turtles movie, I don't know what to tell you :lol:


Bottom line, it's all for fun. There is bad but entertaining, and then there is bad "tmnt 3, mortal kombat 2" type movies. I'm will to bet this will NOT be that bad :lol:
 
tmnt 3 and mk2 are actually guilty pleasures of mine so if I enjoy this anywhere near those, I'll be happy.

In other news, anybody else pick up that TMNT book yet? Mine should be getting here tomorrow.
 
Tmnt 3 is a movie so bad it's just bad. Some movies can be so bad they're fun to watch (street fighter, mk2,) but tmnt 3 is dragon ball movie status. Just sucks

Girl preordered it for me and has been holdin out for a week :stoneface: it's at her place

She just admitted to me that she's been keeping it as a surprise for me. Funny thing is that she didn't know I had the tracking number >D :lol: :smh:

i wouldnt go that far, DB was honestly thee worst movie i ever seen!!!

i put TMNT 3 in the mario brothers and double dragons
 
TMNT 3, DB, Mario Bros, and Double Dragon all belong in the same category, horrible!!

If it wasn't for the Zangief "change the channel" line in Street Fighter it would belong too. I laugh everytime at that line. :lol:
