Official TMNT thread, return of the classic giant figures

Great movie. It served it's purpose as a 2014 reboot and made me feel 7 again. The sequel will win.

They could have hooked up Whoopi Goldberg with a different wig. Everytime she talked her wig moved out of place like she was swinging dreads...
 
Not gonna lie, I did like it. The Turtles were dope and shredder was dope. What else is needed. And I actually wasn't bored unlike in GOTG.
 
I just saw it. I probably watched like 10 minutes of an episode in 2007 and I'm a fan now. Action scenes were amazing and Mikey was hilarious he's my favorite. Meagan Fox did a good job to me but I always been a fan of hers and didn't get the hate but I didn't see that creepy roommate movie of hers. I'm about to watch the 3 original movies now. I'm not a Michael Bay fan but his work got me wanting some Fila's the new Tmnt ones. All in all it was decent but reading these comments I seem dumb :lol: .
 
Also there were huge plot inconsistencies like snow in the summer but that's whatever. I laugh about it and move on

This! So typical the leader gets his a** kicked the worst then needs to be rescued with special stuff. I knew the bad guy was going to be the bad guy :lol:. Whomever the actor was and Meagan Fox had either had or badly wanted to have sex with each other.

I love Papa Johns and hate Pizza Hut mainly because the local Pizza Hut probably gets tipped when the health inspector is coming they are disgusting had it last night and almost threw up but man that cheese pizza in the scene when Mikey snitched looked so good. Will have to go to another Pizza Hut .

Satisfied w/ the Foot masks though the OG masks should've been used. Movie was better than I expect and served as a great introduction for a series of movies. Can't wait to see Casey Jones, Bebop and Rocksteady. I need Takka and Rahzar to show their faces at some point. I can't see them using Krang but possibly Baxter taking the role of minor villian, taking Sacks place.

man they showed them all the time..... like when she was handing whoopi that folder, when she was going thru the files. the trying to take pictures of the foot clan.... she and her thumbs looked more like mutant turtles then the tmnt did.

yeaa it really was... i mean lets be honest here....

one they are tmNINJAt..... ninjas are suppose to be discreet, these dudes are all out in the daytime etc. and the way ppl live thru their phone how in the hell did NO ONE ever get a pic.... I mean the tmnt wouldve been number 1 trending topic on twitter and all over vine/instagram... then megan fox... she might just be the worst actress in hollywood. i mean she is worse then reality tv actors. She just might be the worst actress i think ive ever seen. She literally must be on the casting couch. Hell the pron star april oneil wouldve been better then her.

second..... where is finchter, the guy who really made/came up with the turtles? They just up and replaced dude with some eric sachs guy. Like how you just gonna cut a main character out and replace him with someone made up. That would be like the x men just taking away professor X, and just throwing in some random old dude. And why was there a need for him AND shredder? And speaking of shredder, i know the old tmnt shredder was bad, but this one was equally as horrid as well. Dude looks like someone super glued utensils to a trench coat.

An we get it, pizza hut has brought back the stuffed crust bites pizza. I could understand a little subtle reference, but for a brief while i thought i was looking at a 10 minute superbowl halftime pizza hut commercial. And then on top of that it wasnt even pizza hut pizza in the box. They know good and damn well that them slices aint that big, and that new york corner store homegrown style pizza is nothing like pizza hut.

then everytime there was a emotional moment, the scene is ruined with a forced cheesy one liner.... that and just a bad script period.... i mean come one who says "I want you to drain all of their blood, all of the turtles blood.... EVEN if it KILLS them!!!! Like really first when he says all of their blood i mean we obviously know its the turtles hes talking about, no need to repeat it and then refer to the tmnt, also if you drain all of their blood...hello..."it will kill them" dumbadd...

What did michael bay think ppl didnt know if you drain all the blood out of a living thing it will die... Even the kids this movie is aimed at knows that. Then the foot soldiers while they were decent, little to know fighting was done by them. They pretty much looked like extra leftovers from the jokers robbing crew from tdk. The movie was pretty hollow and whats funny is pretty much a rip from the ps3 tmnt: secret of the ooze mini game that dropped.

The only saving grace was the action and filmography.... other then that the movie was meh at best. Def a 6/6.5 Its not something you gotta run out and must see. And unless your a big tmnt fan/collector it isnt something youll go buy on bluray when it hits the shelves.

i lol its just 1st we dont get a tmnt game...then this... the og tmnt is better and well this is better then the other 2/3 its still probably the worst comic movie of the year easy.... might be the worst action movie of the summer. Even the expendables 3 is better then this
 
I've gonna save this thread for everyone who says it's trash that I guarantee will go see the sequel

reading is FUNDamental i never said i didnt see the movie, what i said was i didnt go to a movie theater and waste money to go see the movie.... comprehension is the key
 
I liked it. But then again i walked in knowing i wouldnt be getting some ground breaking, super intricate plot. I wanted to watch giant turtles kicking *** and thats what i got.
