Official TMNT thread, return of the classic giant figures

Paramount coming through with the damage control.

Good luck trying to stop people from posting pics on the TMNT forums

Paramount most likely had to create a screenname before joining
Yep. Its time to bring back the wait period.

Do you really think lawyers are sending us DMCA compliance requests via PM?  C'mon, son.
I wonder if the Beverly Hills office realizes that this film is being shot in Times Square, in broad daylight, in-front of a public audience of 100's of people in NYC. laugh.gif
To be fair, I think the timing of the request coincided with the release of images posted from sequences shot on their lot.

That's probably what they're referencing here, but the reality is that sites like this one don't exactly have a legal department on staff with nothing to do but handle the threat of nuisance litigation.  If a studio wants to shoot themselves in the foot (no TMNT pun intended), I really couldn't care less.  They failed to specify, so we'll lose ALL the "on set" images and they'll lose out on all the publicity and interest those images might have generated.

I made the mistake of catching the first Transformers film while killing time before catching a red eye.  After seeing what Michael Bay did with that (especially with "Jazz", the robot who transformed into Soul Plane), I'm more than happy to help Paramount squash interest in his latest cinematic anathema.

But they can't honestly suppress photos taken in public. And, if photos are leaking off their lot (if that's what they're referring to), then that's a security issue they should probably address lol. This is just a tremendous reach by them. I've never heard of a studio doing this. We see set photos all the time from every big movie, including lot photos. All of a sudden it's a problem with this one? Come on. You know it's bogus, and the studio is scared of something.

And I'm not saying don't comply, I'm just saying the whole thing is really fishy.

 :smh:

I think so. I just hope it's a movie based on Transformers and not a movie based on Mark Walhberg with Prime and Bumblebee in it.

so i seen on other message boards and blogs that the shredder pic had to be taken down... meh >D everything else is up though

anyways, more footage from the new game (look at arcade mode)

I was excited for movie figs at first but then the realization of no Classics Shredder yet will make me not support anyTMNT figures until then.
