CWs bring back a lot of memories. Midsoles crumbled on me about 3 years ago and i was crushed.

idk i think they were. some other NTer posted a video of a New Orleans movement or something just a few minutes ago, and the guy in tha video had the white/black/siilver X's in the background w/ the toe cap. it should still be on the first forum page.

Steel Xs with the toe cap pop up every now and then. Shadow's with a toe cap... Not so sure.
 
I have a couple pairs of Steel X with the toe cap, I know those were sold obviously.
I was talking about the Shadow X with the toe cap. I have never seen anyone that has them.
 
good lord i want to go back to those days, the XI's the X's the kemp's, the hill's....that's gotta be about the two best pages from eastbayin the past 15 years. If only I was a sneaker fiend back then, and my foot was the same size as it is today, lol!

I actually ordered the Xs from that exact catalog. I remember when my Mom ordered them they actually had to tell her that the shoe had been changed. My mom waslike "Nick, they don't have that piece of leather on there. Is that ok?" haha.

Another thing, if you were smart you could actually get these for 80. They had a deal where you could get a $100 gift certificate for $80. I think my momordered the gift certificate and then said "ok, we'd like to buy the...."
 
the good ole days, will NEVER see those times again, hypebeast and resellers messed the game up,i remember being able to copp these with ease, a month after RDfor retail, the game aint the same...
 
the game has def changed. gotta remember though if it hadn't changed alot of peoples lives would be very different.
 
wow....swear you don't see heat like that on the pages of Eastbay anymore
those X's though...my jaw dropped at the price...makes me wanna hope in the Delorean and gun it to 88
 
Toe Cap Shadow X or just Steel X?
I have Steel X, I am looking for anyone with toe cap Shadows.

My guess is you've never held a pair of OG's in your hand-much less wear them. They will never be the same.
