what version is the best photoshop? i saw a very expensive one and one that is not so expensive. thanks.
don't do drugs, sell them.

You always want the latest one - CS2 (basically version 9.0) is very good.

Although 7.0 was perfectly adequate until I changed it recently. You may get a cheap copy of that somewhere.

how do u change the color of the brush? thanks again

Just double click on the colored squares to the left - the top one is the foreground (basically what you paint with) and the back one is the background.

Here, the thing with the circle around it:

Two of my favorite shortcuts are:

press D to return to black foreground and white background

press X to change around the foreground and background (i.e. from black/white to white/black or vice-versa). That's especially useful when you're working in layer masks and want to correct something - it's really fast.

Just been out on my bike for an hour thinking about that and you've got me stumped. I'm no expert though - I've just been fiddling with the program for a year or so and picked a few things up. A few of the graphic designers who've seen my stuff don't like the way I do some of it.

Anyway, no matter what I do mine always makes a new layer. I don't even have to make a new layer - just drag it over and it drops it onto a new layer.

If you copy the image you want to use and then go to the one you are using as the master and just edit>paste it does it make a new layer?

If it does I don't know what's going on. Could be a setting somewhere but I can't find one - been looking through the preferences. Edit>pasting it should do the same as dragging it over.

No, not in PS. I used a program called UnFreez to make mine. You need to make your image files into gif's and then you just drag them onto the program and specify the timing and stuff. It's dead easy and you can get it here.

Watch the size though - mine is just under the limit - it doesn't make compact animated gif's.

You can also make little movies if you can get screen caps - I have a Jordan one somewhere from a DVD I have - you just capture lots of frames close together and then fiddle with the timing and it looks pretty good.

Here are my first try.I used the final shot pic. I tried to blurr the people out u can kind of tell. I also made everything else but jordan and the ball black and white and you can kind of tell that everything else is blurred.

Here the Original pic :

^ that's pretty good. You did a good job isolating MJ and the ball.

Pretty easy - I would do it the same way I did the black and white one - first page I think.

Basically make a new layer and isolate what you want to keep clear (like the thing you wanted to keep clear - I used a layer mask). Then blur the background layer and you'll have that effect - just play with the filter>blur settings until you get one you like.
