I actually like the Blue Chip and Hyperdunk (if it had a Full Zoom Air Tooling) but the Zoom BB2 was just ehhh... and there has been nothing else to reallycatch the fancy of the rest of the Population unless you are near an HoH..

Of course the Lebron VI gives you a little something... but again.. ya have to be near something..

So why not go ahead and ID the Original Zoom BB 1? Give us something else to buy up and actually use as complete basketball shoes? Why leave what worked? Why wait years to retro it? Look at the economy.. Look at its original Wide release?

Poo Poo earth colors and Footlocker didnt want to touch the BB2 because the 1st was so piss poorly Marketed and released in bad colorways. The only people whomade money were resellers in NYC.

So free advice which won't be taken.......

ID PEs for your star players from ALL NBA cities and make them available. Give basic Patent Options and watch the revenue roll in. Open the line up....Kylehas a crap load of BOMB colorways in which can be offered as an extra revenue stream.

You figure HoH is hurting business anyway and the overall Basketball business is down.. so why not make money where you can. Releases pressure for thedesigners to have to come up with that much more for their lines and something that worked.

Who says you have to wait until Sport Culture gets access to do a re-release. Aren't you already competing against your old stuff anyway? Might as wellrelease it and get credit for it while its in your house.

Zoom BB 1. Where success happens.

I second that motion... I have nothing bad to say about this shoe. Great performer!

I've had difficult times choosing a colorway that I really liked. Settled for the Black GR in the end, but I still can't get over the All Black PatentLeather PE version, which was 10x better. Plenty of PE colorways were really nice - Penny, BG, BRoy, TP etc.

Picked up 3 pairs just in case Nike won't release anything good in the future, LOL

And yeah... the Zoom BB II was pure trash! I played in them only once After that I promised myself I won't do that to myself ever again.

I would love some all reds, i.e. B-Roys...give me those and i m good...

^^When it comes to what some call Grails.. THOSE are indeed Grails my man.. All Red Christmas Day Zoom BBs...

These are in fact my new Zoom 2K3... I used to pick up a crap load of those and like Greg said.. I am loading up on these now.

Low Blacks

Well... after I was amazed by the Mid version I wanted to check out the Lows and I picked up the Black/Red GR Low, but it was nothing like its big brother. Midis where the quality is.

I still wish Nike would put these on NikeID!

These are some of the coolest looking, best performing bball shoes ever released by any brand!

Amen...I love this shoe and have been calling outlets everywhere looking for the TB colors. So far I have only been able to scoop up the white/purple andwhite/varsity crimson in my size.
Man, would I love the white/forest green and/or the white/navy!
Size 10.5 if anyone knows where to find them, please hit me up.

I know for a fact that College send backs were sent to Outlets and MANY of them are probably in Oregon Outlets... sadly...

Nice Ebay pics, I was looking at the same shoes just the other day

I made a post a few weeks ago how I was disappointed with the suede version of this shoe, is the leather version that much better?

Yeah.. I stole ALL the ebay pics.. lol...

and yes.. the Leather and Patent Leather don't give way like the Suede European lifestyle versions...

I saw a white/navy colorway at my local Nordstrom's Rack for like $49 a few months ago and passed

Those white/red joints are fire though

i like this thread but resenting the negative bb2 remarks. the bb2s may not have the looks the bb1s have but they work, at least for me. but yes, nike shouldlisten to you on this, RockDeep.

Are the BB1's that much better than the BB2's?!

I personally LOVE the 2's. I haven't felt this good in a pair of hooping shoes since the 2K4's. The ankle support is top notch, and the traction isridic. If the 1's are that much better, I might have to invest in a pair or two.

^^The BB2's aren't as responsive as the BB 1s... at least straight out the box.

But the 2's are much more desirable for a wider foot.. where the BB1 seemed to adjust to wide or narrow feet... and they are very responsive..

Yet they just went away...

Also, I can't seem to get that lockdown feeling in the 2's. Laces system is bad.

One of the comfiest hoops shoes in years....

The 1s just blew these out of the water performance wise....

I was disappointed with the 2s. They looked sweet but felt weird.

Another hit by RockDeep.

This shoe was bananas. I had the NYC version (Knicks colors), and I rock mines casually moreso than hooping. But when I hooped in them, I had no complaints atall.

The BB2s DO feel weird. I played in them one night for a couple hours and they made my Achilles tendon KILL. I was sore the next day!

The BB1's are too soft for me. I feel like I'm jumping off a pillow when attacking the rim or jumping for a rebound.

Def. a comfy sneaker, though.

My PE mids are nice, but the BB Low is easily my favorite performance shoe. I haven't played in my Black/Red lows, but my Nash lows still have a lot oflife left in them. I think they would also be great indoor soccer shoes, or tennis shoes. They're just superb, excellent fit and court feel, responsiveand lightweight, with great stability and traction.

I'm happy to know there's lots of pairs floating around out there, because at first people were reselling and nobody had them. The BB2 Low I havedoesn't feel as responsive out of the box, and it feels a bit more bulky, but I haven't played in it yet.
