Forget the Kobe IV, Hyperdunk, Blue Chip and Subpar Releases....Zoom BB 1 Please!

Performance-wise BB II > BB I for me, but I have a wide foot and I'm 6'8 230.

I think the bigger you are and wider the foot, the BBII will accomodate you alot sooner and you will probably be able to 'break it in" alot quicker..I still think it takes too long to break in the responsiiveness.

A sneaker shouldn't need break in time..in my opinion...

I don't know if it's my size or my foot or what but I can't remember the last bball shoe that I didn't have to break in. Lebron's,Hyperdunks, Zoom BB's, etc it didn't matter. Even the team-issued Reeboks I had in college took a little bit of time to break in, before they justbroke altogether, lol.

That could be your foot pronation and gait then....

cause the BB1s, Jordan XIX SE's , XII's and 2K3s for me were instant response.. where the Lebron II which everyone else loved was a terrible shoe forme and gave me shin splints and my feet hurt BADLY after wearing the first time.

I actually gave them away AT the basketball Court. lol

The Shox BB4 hurt my feet the first two times, but after that they were classic.. but still not as good as Zoom Air joints I love..

ill agree that the bb1 is far better than the bb2. the bb2 was wayyy too wide and the zoom definitely needed some breaking in. i played in them for about amonth and kept spraining my ankle so i eventually just gave them away to my friend.

anyone know where i can find the bb1 in a size 13.5 for a reasonable price??

It's not always something major, it's usually a pinching in the achilles or in the toes the first couple times I wear 'em. Usually ifI'm playing against decent comp and going at full speed I rarely notice it until I stop playing and my feet are sore.

They are the second comin of the 2K3 for sure but i still prefer the 2K3 over the BB1, especially for indoor traction.

Though with 2K3's gettin harder and harder to find it looks like these will be another go to shoe for actual hoopin that i may stock up on.

I agree with everyone on here. These are by far one of my top 5 basketball shoes ever!

I have the black joints with the yellow laces, but there about to die on me, so I'm gonna send them in for a voucher, sadly

.

But I still have a pair of the Larry Hughes PE Homegrown's in my size. But I can't decide if I should wear them or not.

BUT these are definitely a GREAT shoe to hoop in!...now if only I could find some more in size 10.5!

pretty much

im stocking up on bb1 lows right now. i have yet to find a mid in my size round my way

i want that ben gordon pe rock posted but its not worth whatever marqueesole is charging for it imo

i'm loving this thread rock.

i'm definitely a BIG fan of the bb1, especially the lows. instant reaction out of the box and they were immediately one of my top 5 all-time favorite oncourt kicks, only got better with each wearing. for a low cut, i never thought i'd like a shoe as much as the jet flight, but the bb1 low is definitely mytop on court low ever.

i do like the bb2 mid though. i feel like it has more comfort and support in comparison to the bb1. it was just a bit more beefy and less minimal in the upper, and the footbed felt just a tad bit wider than the bb1. which due to my rocking 20 pounds more than i'm comfortable with, made me feel more at ease. i knowit's all psychological, but that's how i felt when playing in them

all in all, the bb1's are one of the best shoes nike has released in a very long time. they should totally be on id over what they have on there currently.

and rock's thoughts about the basketball shoe world with the economy as it is, were spot on.

I still need a pair of the BGs.

Anyone have that picture of the black/yellow pair? It was all patent leather. Those are

I'm with Rock on this one....
I've got 3 pairs and I'm almost afraid to wear the other 2 pairs in fear that I wont be able to get them anymore later.

One of my favorite performance basketball shoes ever. The shoe didn't really have any huge flaws for me besides maybe a bit more padding at the achilles. But nikeID on this shoe would be amazing. My favorite colorway below. Shout to Steez for the tee!

Anyone with some more sz12's hit me up!

BB1 and cool, but bring back the 2k3 in the all black and white/navy CW. I sold me black on eBay.... I didn't know what I had till it was gone.

My bad, I should have clarified. I was talking about the BB1.

i'm 5'5" 140lbs and i like the bb2s a lot. everything about it feels perfect for me and i have normal feet (medium/slim, arched). not takinganything away from the bb1s but i wouldn't call them better than the bb2s. i can't seem the find a pair of the black and white bb1s anywhere anymore.but at least there are still bb2s floating around, and if anything i'd probably ID a pair as a last resort.

Those are sweet

I was a really big fan of the USC colorway as well...

Saw these on Ebay but I don't want to pay $100+

^Those USC aways are fire.

The BB1 is definitely up there in my top five. I've been playing in mine for a while and they've held up well. If only they had been on id...

I love Rock's idea about releasing a version for each NBA team. I don't think I'm alone in wanting a pair of those Christmas day blazers PEs.
