Since this is niketalk and we're a pretty similar demographic I'd like to see what you guys recommend watching as foreign films go.
Here's what on the top of my mind right now.

Ip Man
Kung Fu movie starring Donnie yen about early life of Bruce Lee's OG teacher.

Old Boy
Weird but interesting korean thriller.

Battle Royal
Cool idea. Pretty entertaining! Battle Royal 2 sucks.

Dumplings
Chinese lady steps her youth game up by eating dumplings. Word to baby fetus dim sum.

Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon

Oldboy is on ON Demand in the free movies section until the 27th...

The Beast Stalker
The Chaser
Legendary Assassin

Not to sway off topic, but has anyone heard of an old Spanish movie 'Mama, soy Paquito'??

My aunt who passed away a few years ago used to really like that movie, and mom recently told me that before she passed she used to tell my mom she wanted towatch it again. Unfortunately, the little mexican video store we used to rent it from closed 10+ years ago, and we haven't been able to track down a copysince.

I tried eBay but nothing. I found two used VHS copies of it (no pictures), but each seller was charging $80. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How was City of Men, been wanting to see if for a minute?

daaaaam, there's so many--I tend to get at least two, three foreign films a month from netflix; but off the top of my dome

the infernal affairs trilogy
old boy
lady vengence
city of men; city of god
stolen life

those are the only ones I can think of....Brazilian movies tend to go awfully hard, as well as Korean and Chinese.

can someone help me out. whats this movie called? it takes place in a hotel in europe and a hotel manager is giving his illegal immigrant employees fakepassports if they give them their kidneys. in the end a girl is gonna go through with it but someone winds up stopping and killing the manager instead. itwas a good movie, i just can't remember the name.
