Well, if you dont have access to a wireless hotspot then you can connect it to a computer via the usb cable and manually down the the update to your computer then to your psp.

yea, im running 2.0 already.... do u have to have a wireless router or is there jus some wlan connection that works for everyone??

my psp is version 1.52 how do i upgrade it to 2.0. when i first started my psp it was upgraded to 1.52 so how do i upgrade again?

Yea you pretty much have to either have a wireless internet connection near you....whether ti be in your house...friends house...internet cafe or university.

To upgrade...when you are at the main menu when the psp is started without a game inside scroll all the way to the left till you hit "settings".Then scroll up to Network Update...

I have to go exchange my psp AGAIN...after work today...hopefully I don't have to go through a lot of them just to find one that has no dead pixels in it.

1.You can't downgrade.

2. There is a white PSP. It's a Japanese edition. If you buy it, buy the Giga Pack. You can find them on Ebay for around 320. Not bad cuz you get a Gig and the PSP. Only thing is you can't play movies.

3. I sold mine after a month. I'm not much of a gamer. But, i want one again.

GTA Liberty City has a loophole that allows for homebrew. Google is your friend.

BTW--here's my ceramic white gigapack PSP. It was actually cheaper than the US version because my family shipped it tax/customs-free.

I can't wait till they make a downgrader for v2.5. I had 1.5 with tons of roms/emus/programs, but my cousin upgraded it. >:

it seems unlikely to happen. Sony recreated one of the system files to "brick" the PSP when any kind of activity of downgrading is noticed. Thanks Sony. :stoneface:

hmmmm...not sure about poker games for PSP.
As for homebrew, there are tons of articles about downgrading--which is legal for personal applications. But, please keep the illegal talk out of this thread, IE. downloading/installing ripped software.
