This where my American tax dollars are going, do you know where your tax dollars are at? TAKE THE TIME TO FIND THE TRUTH. So manylives depend on it. I can no longer sit back with good conscience and do nothing while my government is supporting the types of terrorist actions that we havecondemned Muslim Fundamentalist for. Call your Congressman and Senator, send an email to the White House anddemand that our government negotiate FAIRLY with both sides and bring a fair and just solution to Palestine and Israel .
 
Damn, I agree with Israel's retaliation but they are doing a terrible job when it comes to preserving civilian life.

Palestinians never had sovereign right to any of that land. Before the partition, it was the UK's. After, it was legally Israel's.
 
Not taking sides in any sense, because the fighting needs to end, but this thread makes it seem that the Palestinians have never killed any Israelis.
 
i have virtually no knowledge of the background of this fighting, i know they are fighting over the land, but can i get some details/history...

First off: I'm neither pro-Israel nor pro-Palestine. Both sides have done horrible things, some of whichoutweigh others, but if you're going to make a post about something like this, try and make it so you show what both sides are doing. With this thread, youmake it seem like the Israelis are the quintessential bad guys, and the Palestinians are the poor, defenseless victims. They BOTH have attacked the othercountries civilians and committed war crimes. Even though you're clearly against Israel, it makes you actually credible if you take an open minded view onsome things like this. All you're doing here is throwing more anti-Israel propaganda out there. Israel has the legal claim to that land, Dey Know Yayoposted why. Palestine though, wont let up in this little hisy fit of a war they're having despite this fact. Should the two countries find a solution? Yes.Will they? No.

The last little message posted beneath the pictures tells us to force the US government to intervene and create negotiations between the two countries, but youknow damn well the US wont force Israel to do something it doesnt want to if it wants to keep them as allies. Israel knows this, thats why they'reattacking with so much more force than necessary.
 
The cycle of hate between both groups will be going on forever. The world really needs to take a good look at itself.

Still, no matter how you look at it, almost 800 dead, 2-3 thousand wounded, 30-40% women and children casualties vs a handful dead and injured tells yousomething.

No secret that U.S is giving Israel billions in aid, weapons and "unconditional" political support.

Why ? A more interesting question.

I ignore all the crazy zionist conspiracy theories and will tell you simply, it all boils down to interests. Israel being powerful in the area is verybeneficial to the U.S for many reasons. If you want more detail just ask, i'm keeping it basic so it's easy to understand for now.

They do not have the legal claim to all the land. They are occupying Palestinian land under what was given to them in the U.N. Partition Plan.

I do agree with you that the two sides have done atrocities. But in the end, one people are the occupied and the other are the occupiers. This can be looked atwhatever way depending on what you see as the truth.
 
Last time I cried or even shed a tear was when my grandmother died in feb 06 (RIP), but this truly brung tears to my eyes, every picture I scrolled down to wassadder then the one before. Its a shame what the world has come to. And im over here thinking im living a good life without problems etc etc.. Smh
 
the US supports Israel because of the Jewish presence in America and the Jewish American lobby. the reason for america's distaste of muslim arab nations isbecause of this, not the cause of it.
