Wow!! Mr Rodgers was a sniper in the marines LOL

I actually did a report on Fred Rogers when I was in elementary school and I never knew about any service he did in the military. But besides that, through theyears I hated when anyone would joke on the man, spreading rumors about what he did with kids behind closed doors and nonsense like that.

Mr. Rogers did alot in his lifetime for the betterment of kids everywhere that alot of people don't know about.

Check out the comments.
You know he was a good dude when almost every single comment has a + and not one - in it.

I kinda wish it were true.

2. He made thieves think twice. According to a TV Guide piece on him, Fred Rogers drove a plain old Impala for years. One day, however, the car was stolen from the street near the TV station. When Rogers filed a police report, the story was picked up by every newspaper, radio and media outlet around town.
Amazingly, within 48 hours the car was left in the exact spot where it was taken from, with an apology on the dashboard. It read, "If we'd known it was yours, we never would have taken it."

Mr. ROGERS was a true mentor through the use of public television.

He did most of the voices for the puppets in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

He the the originator of the concept of the flat panel television (Picture-Picture, anyone?)
