Robert Deniro Vs. Al Pacino

In my heart & my soul, even though I love his performance in Scarface and others I know that De Niro is a better actor. Casino + Goodfellas =

I gotta say that maybe De Niro's list of movies is better than Pacino's one, but those movies, such as Goodfellas and Casino were certainly not made byDe Niro alone. Neither were Pacino's movies, but overall, De Niro has had a better supporting cast than Pacino in their best movies, most notably Pesci,which is what ultimately makes De Niro's movies better.
 
DeNiro for me. He does the serious role brilliantly. And his comic roles have been hysterical.

But in all honesty it's like picking from 1a and 1b. These guys are just in a league of their own.

Eh.. Only Meet The Parents 1 really made me laugh.. And Analyze This maybe a little. The others have been garbage.
 
Man this is a tough one. But DeNiro is a method actor which brings him slightly on top. I mean to me DeNiro does have the better movies more or less. butPacino is right on his tail. Pacino is just a damn fine actor, I mean you can say what you want about Scarface which was good for him. But his best work came?from a scent of a women, Pacino acted his butt off in that film. I love em both (no mo).

But this scene from DeNiro always gives me goosebumps. This is the type of acting that only a chosen few can pull off like Pacino, Daniel Day-lewis andmaybe just maybe Danzel. But this is my favorite deniro scene of all time...

Deniro but not by a huge margin....

i find scent of a woman to be pacinos best flick

i think scarface was a great film, but overrated


Deniro in mob flicks > Pacino in mob flicks
 
Sorry Al Pacino wins this one IMO, Donnie Brasco, Scarface, Carlito's way, Sent of a Woman, Devils advocate, any given sunday, Godfather, Heat, 88 minutes,the recruit


Deniro is great as well its tough but Al Pacino gets my vote.
 
Ehh, outside of Dog Day Afternoon, Godfather 1,2,3 and Scent of a Woman, I think De Niro has had a better career. Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Deer Hunter,Casino, Sleepers and A Bronx Tale. De Niro always plays a character with deep meaning.
 
I have lost almost all respect for both of these guys. They have become charectures of themselves in their older age as they choose awful roles. But with thatsaid, Pacino.
