I see all these celebrities getting paid big money to endorse products but, do people actually buy the product because so and so says to?
Does anyone buy a product because of the person who endorses it?

short answer is ALOT of people do - endorsing is a very old marketing tool and is still strong today -
even if its not hey my name is ___ and i eat ____ - its in the form of product placement etc etc-

dont get me started on wu-wear... i knew it was time to stop buying that %%!! when some dude dropped his drink all over the floor in this cloths store at themall, the people working their didnt have paper towels so they took a wu-wear shirt off the shelves and started wiping it up...
