i dunt own a pair, but i have plenty of friends who have various colorways of xi's from back then and they still look crispy other thendiscoloration.

these shoes will not crumble
i have a friend that wears his
OG concord 11's and OG black / red 11's
a couple times a month and they are in perfect condition
so i know the retro's will be just fine if you wear them
i myself wore my retro columbia's and black / reds up till last year
with no problems what so ever then sold them and copped ds pairs for my collection
now if you were talking about retro 4's like white cement's or black / reds
then i would tell you to be very careful because these shoes are #1
when it comes to crumbling and falling apart.
ive seen OG 1's and AJKO'S from 1985 hold up longer then 1999 retro 4's
but as for the 11's you are just fine , so go for it..............................................................peace

They don't have a polyurethane midsole like shoes that do crumble (2, 3, 4, etc)
