RED BOX DVD Machines Appreciation. vol. i hope blockbuster goes out of business.

You can use pre-paid credit cards--or atleast the AMEX ones.

And also, they don't have much of a selection compared to BusterBlocks and NetSticks so that will be their only downfall until something is solved.

Very much appreciated. I hate having to travel back to return the DVD though. The supermarket where my nearest Red Box is located closes at 9pm and sometimes Idon't make there in time. I love the free rental promo codes that the red box guy gives out. You have to catch him when he's refilling the movies.

isn't that the same with a regular rental store though?

not at all. I've held blockbuster blu-ray rentals for over a month, return it back and get charged $1.25 late fee.

- They got blu-ray joints o_O ?

the only movie rental store near me charges $5 for a 7 day rental. even if you're gonna watch the movie and return it the next day, still $5. i startedrentin from the redbox for $1, and then return the same day. i hope it puts all these garbage rental stores out of business

Im also more likely to take chances on movies that look like they MIGHT suck terribly, cause its only a damn dollar.

I feel like i might find a diamond in the rough one of these days cause i took a $1 chance.

(dont rent 'The Man That Came Back' though, worst western ive ever seen, smh at me)

i guess i forgot blockbuster doesn't have late fees anymore... then again, they charge you 6 bucks or something for a rental... if you canremember to return a redbox within a week, you're still making out.

besides - take a bit more responsibility, how hard is it to remember to return a movie? for a dollar a movie, it's well worth adding that tiny bit extraresponsibility on you.

especially with all the free rental codes that pop up

Someone put me onto the free rental codes.

Do you get them in emails? cause i always hit "no thanks" at that point, i figured it'd be a ton of spam nonsense.
