do you use the phrase "to be honest with you"...

I use "Honestly, _____".

But that's only when I'm typing. You will never catch me being honest when meeting face to face.

I use "Frankly,...."

This is what I hear a lot when I'm out. It annoys me when someone says it over and over before each sentence.

example:

me: is it windy outside?

random cowoker: to be honest with you, yea its pretty windy

oh ok. well thanks for clarifying that this was going to be a truthful answer about something I would have no reason to suspect you to be dishonest about. appreciate it.

I dunno maybe im overreacting but I seriously hear this atleast 10 times a week!
