Now, I don't even have the urge to go buy albums and I got the money in my pocket...

I don't care what anyone says, I %#+!$ with The Lex Diamond Story there's a handful of bangers that go hard imo

....The Three-headed monster. These 3 dudes ran Def Jam and Rap at that time. Those where good years for hip hop, alot of artist that are icons now blew up from that era. IMO This was the best era of hip-hop of all time

I still play Beneath the Surface, In My Lifetime, and Blackout! every now and then... I actually really, really, really likeBlackout. Chronic 2001 and Slim Shady were good too, but I don't really listen to them anymore. I also remember And Then There Was X and the Ruff Rydersalbums as being good, but I only listened to those in my brother's car. Murda Muzik had a couple hard tracks. http://www.youtube.com/v/rDdPcYaFH3k&hl=en&fs=1 still

I'm goin' left field with this one but "Murdah Muzik" was my favorite album of '99. It wasn't "Hell on Earth" but it hadreplay value, IMO.
