doubt it, Jay would have left sooner, I think we can all agree he's a smart man. rumors are that he was trying to take BIG from Puff with hisCharlie Baltimore techniques... explaining to bigg how bad he was getting exploited.. how important it is to own his own publishing and all that.
If anything Big was showing Jay how important it is to move up in the music biz rather than being one of Puff's workhorses

Why? Because This Happens To ALL Artists At Some Point
So true and reminds me of Jay-Zs "Ignorant $$!%"

let's make this into a hypothetical post....

"if big was alive, jay-z would've still been a regular rapper instead of a superstar"

"lil cease catalog would've been ******ed"

"lil kim would've probably had a kid by him"

"killa cam and Murda mase would've never caught beef and still been around rapping together......diplomats would've been under Lance UNrivera"

"the lox would've never left bad boy"

biggie and big pun would've had a song together..according to fat joe biggie and pun were schedule to make a few songs together.

I dont think BIG would have been as relative as an artist today. He would definitely be an important person in hip hop music for his contributions, but I amtired of hearing people saying the game wouldn't have been the same today. The fact is..Hip Hop is an evolving genre, and Biggy was arguably the best inthis era...But it wouldn't have stayed that way for long. Music is meant to evolve for better or worse, and artists gotta be ready to move on with whatworks. One of the reasons i give Jay props for being the best to ever do it...He can still make music relative to today and have it be hot. Nas can't dothat, he still stuck in 96 with most of his rhyming.. But back to the point.. We can never be sure of where or what Biggy would have been doing right now hadhe not been killed...In my honest opinion, we might not like the answer...
