Roommate Unnapreciation Vol. WHO VACUUMS AT 12:30 IN THE MORNING?!?

On the real I can't stand my roommate.... I should have just stayed at Portland State for atleast one more term and stayed home. Knew the kid in HS butnever really talked to him. In fact I don't think I even said a word to him lol. Went to the UO/UW game with my buddy and him, seemed chill the first timehanging with him this summer, and we were both looking for a place ended up finding one across Autzen Stadium and ended up roomin together because we werelooking to save money haha. But homie is a total idiot.... Funny how age and maturity don't correlate >L<. I mean who vaccuums, does laundry, and thedishes in the middle of the night.
 
talk to him like an adult about the problems or they'll never get resolved. be as mature as you think you are.
 
hah oh i have talked to him, aint no helping this guy.
i spend the majority of my time now on campus either in class or at the rec working out...
or just out keeping myself occupied like chilling with the friends.
 
Yeah hopefully not. It started off with my transfer work >L<<br /> I got accepted then UO denied me a few weeks later because I didn't haveWR121
Though one of my classes was supposed to cover that at PSU but didn't....
So the dudes I was originally gonna room with thought I was staying at PSU for one more year
Its jsut a clash of personalities... I got my priorities and yeah he doesn't got any lol

Ironic thing is...we got this place a few weeks before school started...
We live on the other side of the wall of the dudes that I was going to originally room with.
 
haha you stay at the commons or chase village? If it's the commons then you shouldn't be gettin sleep at normal hours anyways.

that family environment vibe usually equals sleep....
but no more man lol

my friend at ducks always complains bout her neighbors upstairs
how they always super rowdy and she gets 3-4 hours of sleep
she pretty much sleeps whent they fall asleep lol
 
like i said i have talked to him.
he hasn't made any changes.
hasn't attempted to either
 
Gotta compromise with roommates.

Ain't fun to find out what's not working with the shared rent arrangement after you're already on that lease for another however long.

Try to let him know its a problem with his sleep habits/hours too if he doesn't care about when you need to get sleep. Or like you're already doing,get out of the house & do your own thing, get space for the both of ya.

I only had a roommate for one year of college. He was pretty chill though. We were pretty similar people. However, I was a person who liked to study late atnight (1AM - 3AM) and go to bed late and he was the type to go to bed early but wake up early to do his studying (Like around 5AM). That caused a few conflictsbecause we would wake up each other by accident sometimes. But overall, it was pretty chill.

But now, I have a double occupancy room by myself.

whew..glad my roommate is el prego.. she sleeps majority of the day..even if she wasn't she doesn't bother me. kinda like my sister. she cool as hell,down to earth..i would slap her of throw something at her if she was doing something loud in the middle of the night and it was quiet hours..lol. Knowing hershe would do the same.
 
Lol he got u not even wantin to go back to yo room,shame smh. You might have to put yo foot down like, look dude this here gotta stop like now.(harsh toned)
 
i dont see those as big problems. people on here will complain about anything. what do you want us to do about it?
 
I'm the same way, I have a habit of doing normal things at night like cleaning up, laundry, and stuff like that.
Theres even been times when I would was my car at night & wax it in the garage.

Maybe he functions better at night, he can't help it. It's just how he is... can't do much about it.

hahaha i've always liked it too, and i got a new vacuum in the past year and it's freakin sweet
