It's 2009 & You're Still Reselling Shoes?

I respect them to a certain degree, I've got my best/rarest shoes from resellers (of course at a super inflated price). I just hate when I try to buy onepair of a shoes for retail and Eastbay crashes... and dudes postin' pics of their 20+ pairs

agreed, but just keep in mind that if you do the math, people in the military make less than minimum wage.
not bad when all of your living expenses are taken care of though....

buying 1 or 2 pairs of shoes to resell is alright but the guys who go to outlets with vans and buy up the whole stock is just OD

I haven't even pay attention to what shoes are hot to resell in years now. And I couldn't care less. All I wear now are just low top Chucks and someRockports. I stopped reselling back in '05 right when the SB hype peaked.

I paid for my college text books about 4 times over from reselling shoes from 2003 - 2005. If I sell something now it's because it's something Idon't wear or care for anymore. I have a core of about 12 pairs that I won't sell or wear because they are novelties but everthing else has beenEbay'd. Some of the remaining stuff I'm going to eventually sell are being sold to get rid of clutter not so much for a profit.

I have a good pair of basketball shoes, a pair of running shoes (Asics ftw), black dress shoes for work and a pair of black suede Clarks Desert Trek boots

(which I want in like 4 more colors). Other than that I have not real zeal to buy a new pair of sneakers.

some of you sound salty. nobody does it as a primary source of income, but its good for extra spendin money if you come across some good deals.

check my sig

i remember when the altitude XIII's dropped and these cats bought out like 10 pairs. dudes were mad pissed cuz they didnt get their pairs. long story shortthey ended up getting robbed and me my homie and his brother got our pairs for free

i still kinda feel bad about that though

i dont even have thoseugly *#! shoes anymore

Never as a primary. But I did liquidate my collection to make more room for my family and copped a mountain bike along with paying off some bills.

i never kept up with how much I've made off reselling, but I did it just as a source to have free kicks and then realized the money making potential alongthe way. that said, i resold kicks from about 2001-2007. i was young and careless with money. i didnt even care about the money I made, it was just monopolymoney to keep me jiggy. I would estimate I made at least 80 stacks in 6 years without making it my sole priority to be a reseller. I just always made sure Ikept some stacks on me to buy big because whenever the opportunity arose, I bought as many as possible.

if i was as focused then as I am now, I would have paid off my education and had some serious stacks to sit on now. but thats all a part of growing up andbeing young. %+%* was fun. now im bout to be out of college and none of that stuff matters to me nearly as much anymore. I have so many kicks that aretaking up room, so I am just trying to minimize my collection to about 10 pairs. i be letting kicks fly for dirt prices cuz i dont care

i haven't resold shoes since the fire red III's/flip III's. i'm sure there's still money to be made on hypebeasts though...
