May XII Retro?

I can verify that the Obsidians did in fact drop on the exact same day as the White/Red XII's... I remember because back in the day Iwasn't sure which of the 2 I wanted...and ended up copping both lol...had to skip class to get them....was a good day...still have both of them too, wornbut VERY clean...

^^^ Yes the XIIs came in Nike Boxes but it was the birth of Jordan Brand. 1st time they didn't put Nike Air on the insoles....In Chicago and im sureeverywhere else the white/red and obsidians came out SAME day...I ran thru ALL the Jordans in high school, I remember hustling up that money for the secondpair the night b4 RD clear as day.

im a lil confused the obsidians and the frenchies are different. the obsidians were retroed but only in low-top...and you're right they didntdrop the same day

The Air Jordan 12 was the first Jordan shoe to be part of the JordanBrand collection and also did not have the Nike logo anywhere on the shoe - not even the insole. The shoes did come in a Nike box, but these were the last.

YES im with you ... I swear I dont remember them dropping on the same day .... I guess in my area they didnt .
 
^^yea I guess it was only in Chicago. This also happened with the VIIs boreduex(sp) and Hares, likewise I don't know if this was the same in other cities.

They probably wouldnt, those are melo pe's from a few years back. I just wanted to give people an idea of a possible colorway option. The lace locks wouldprobably be silver if they were released; I think I might like this version more than the nubucks.
 
AHHH i love these shoes had the nubucks when they released with the package hope these come out

false. I live in the Hartford area and the White/Red & Obsidians dropped on the SAME day. I remember it like it was yesterday, I copped bothpairs. I'm thinking if anything, most cities they dropped on the same day, whereas other cities may have either held them to release on separate days orjust didn't get the shipment at the same time. I know that air-jordans.com shows that they dropped on diff days, but I guarantee that at least in my areathey were dropped on the SAME day.
