NT Yuku Complaint Thread.

i'll give it a lil while before i formulate an opinion on this new Yuku format.


in the meantime, all i wanna know is...........

WHY THE HECK CAN I NOT POST REGULAR REPLIES OR CREATE NEW THREADS??
I can only enter text in the "Subject" fields and that's it (unless I use Quck Reply like now) I can't enter a single character in themessage body.

I think he means that when you clicked a link/page number it turned black, and turned red when theres a new post

now on yuku, it stays black even when there is a new post.

Do you mean, if say a post is 100 pages long, it will look like something like this: 1,2,3....98,99,100

I think he means that when you clicked a link/page number it turned black, and turned red when theres a new post
It still does that unless I'm missing something.

My only beef is with the avatars. I'm still using my ezBoard avy and over there it was under 150,000 bytes... no problem. But when we migrated over toYuku, the file size is got doubled for no reason at all. It didn't get stretched out, I resized it. It's still at 60x60! There should have never beenan increase in my current avy's file size. I'm just trying to comply to the rules by not stretching out my avy which would result in an increase of thefile size. I'm trying to keep it under 150,000 bytes.

I seriously think if we were going to move the avy size up to 100x100, the logical thing was to bump up the file size. I know Meth, you said that we shouldjust get a still picture but we can't capture an entire break-away dunk on a still picture. We can't capture a scene from our favorite cartoon on asingle still picture. We can't capture the entire game-winning shot on a still picture. We can't capture Happyslip in all her sexiness with just astill picture... it doesn't do her justice.

My avys on the OG NT were always under the limit... even if they were "long", I reduced the quality of the .gif just to fit everything on there.

, , and so forth. All these avys are over 0:10 seconds especially my lastSimpsons one where Homer falls off the gorge for a second time. I can get screenshots of their file sizes if you don't believe me they are under the filesize.

To be honest, I never had a problem with 60x60 avys. I'm pretty sure most NTers never had a problem with 60x60 avys. If we can't bump up the avy'sfile size, can we just keep our 60x60 avys? And if we can keep out 60x60 avys, what on earth is going on when we check the file size on Yuku? Peyton... can youexplain why the doubling of the file size occurs? If you don't know what I'm talking about... I'll take some screenshots to make my point clearer.Just let me know.

ok the forum jump and the bookmark things don't work unless the page is loaded completely. but the page wont ever load completely in safari even though idont think theres anything left to load. it works in firefox though

The good thing about that is that we wont have those huge threads taking up half a page.

My only gripe at the moment was going to be the whole topic page compression butI'm not feeling the new reply screen. Guess I'll get used to is eventually.

Upon reviewing my reply my avy looks like crap now with the venom thing staying in the BG.

Upon further review I seem to have gotten back my old sig from when I had the King Hippo avy. Where'd "We are Venom" go?

EDIT: Got my sig back. And one pro about it is that it's instantly changed not like the old NT where changes would take effect with a new reply.

Is it legal to have a moving signature? Someone had a crazy (flash?) signiture that was blinkin and alla that. (yes I don't really like crazy html sigs aswell)
