FYI, I was at Lehman College in NYC in the cafeteria.

I was geeked. I had to check my balance again to make sure I didn't make a mistake, and sure enough my account was only $20 lighter. Can this be tracedback to me?

um yea.. if there is a camera on it.. I suggest taking it to the Bank that fills that ATM. cause right now you could be heading to a FPMITA prison homie..

I don't know about that one .. Same thing happened to one of my boys and he pretty much did the same thing wanted 20 but got more money in return .. Hesaid a few days later the bank called him and took it out of his account .. That was at Wellsfargo tho .. Maybe you'll get lucky

i dont believe it. the technology behind ATM dispense units are waaaaaaaay too intense for it to mess up. A laser (ie - electric eye) runs through the stackedbills (before dispensing) to ensure the density of the stacked bills match the density of bills corresponding to the amount you requested.

you're not winning dude, even if it's not now they're gonna eventually deduct a bill from your account.

Someone once acidentally deposited 350 into my checking, I thought I was doing it, didn't say a word. !$+@ was gone within three days.

I remember this happened a couple years ago on campus. Cats was running to change clothes and coming back. It was fun then until a couple days later when agood portion of money in my account disappeared.

Thats only 80 dollars profit ,guy
You dont want to go to jail for 80 dollars
TRUST ME
80 dollars isnt even that much, You cant even get a decent service down at Hunts Point for 80 dollars

like everyone said already banks do audit those things everytime the get filled...do you really think they are going to miss that when you asked for $20 itgave out $100...better hold that extra $80 so you can deposit it when they take it out

I'd like to think of myself as a man with strong morals but asking me to give back money that has literally fallen into my lap is a bit much.

Screw that. I'd fight so hard for that extra $80.

them: Sir, we have you on camera taking the $100, and our system shows that the ATM gave you $100.

me: No, you have me on camera taking $20, like I wanted. And your system shows that it lost $80 at the same time I made a withdrawal of $20. That's allthat is.

them: So you did not take $100?

me: I took what I came to take. It's my money, I withdrew it from my account and went on my way.

them: The cameras show you...

me: The cameras show me taking money, which I did. How much? $20. Maybe dude behind me picked up that missing $80. Maybe the ATM ate it. Maybe a ****** ishanging out inside the ATM. I don't know. I know I took my $20.
