THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME A FEW MONTHS AGO.... I ADVISE YOU TO GIVE THE MONEY BACK!!! ASAP... I DID THE SAME THING AND CALLED MY BACK JUST TO DOUBLECHECK...THEY SAID EVERYTHING WAS COOL...THEN A FEW DAYS LATER I GOT AN OVERDRAFT FEE FOR A $136
The bank found out what happened and just went into my account and took back what they gave....and since I already took the money out I got an overdraft andhad to pay it back.
Like I said before .... you should give it back...ASAP!!!

i got shorted once. didnt think they would believe me, but somehow they knew i was right. so i'm sure they gotta be able to know when they take a loss.

they cant trace it to you, cuz it could of been doing it ALL day. its a machine error, and the bank takes the loss for it. I work for a financial institutionand its happened before, even if we knew who it was, we cant confront them and ask for it back. One time our atm was down 600$+ , same thing, some1 taking out20, and receiving 100. ONLY when trying to take 20 out tho, if you did 40,60,80,100 you'd get that.

thats actually NOT a stupid question. theres been occasions where atms have 5's 10's 50's 100's. Might be mistakes thru Brinks orwhoever drops off money for bank.. its rare but it DOES happen.
