so would you rather live in a society without any form of government, without any sort of laws, without any regulation, without anything?Originally Posted by nnarum

Privacy is always nice but since I know that I'm not doing anything wrong, I could care less if somebody is listening to me. I would much rather some government agent listen to every call I make and potentially save one person's life then have complete privacy on the phone.
The fact is though, that we shouldn't have to live our lives thinking about these kinds of things. Government is a form of slavery upheld by laws. You break the laws, you go to detention. This is not a free country. You cannot say anything you want, you cannot find out information you want, and you cannot do what you want.
The fact that this even came out public surprises me. I knew something like this was going on, but you couldn't really say because you really have no proof.
