Proof that the last 8 years could have many, many hidden secrets exposed....US GOVT SPIED ON OWN PPL

It had to be crazy to be in dude's shoes during Bush's term.

You know he was shook...He couldn't even come out with this info until Obama was sworn in.

I wonder who else will come forward...

But this leads to a bigger question in my mind, are we going to see more and more officials from the Bush administration come out of the closet(so to speak)

They were even coming out during Bush's tenure.

When your Secretary of State steps down, without being forced out...somethings up.

But we haven't been attacked since 9/11! Even though the administration ignored all the signs that allowed 9/11 to happen which lead to thedeath of thousands and eventually started a war which in turn lead our government to concentrate our war efforts against the wrong people! But we didn'tallow it to happen AGAIN! Bush reacted the best way possible when it happened too! As if he knew it wouldn't happen again!

How could anyone defend this kind of stuff?

It's a total collapse in the fundamentals of a democracy.

But then again, we haven't been attacked since 2001, so it's all good, right?

Wilding out about what?

A man who worked for the NSA is telling you from his own mouth what your government is doing.

The former Secretary of State is telling you from his own mouth that he was lied to about reason for invading Iraq.

What do you find to be so stupid?

So we should give up our constitutional rights to be safe?

What we don't know is how many (if any) "attacks" have been prevented because of their spying...

... I'm sure you guys caught the analogy in the video about trying to "find a needle in a haystack"...

please answer.

Edit: Those who would trade in their freedom for protection deserve neither.

^^ haze is right though man. this guy worked for the NSA, thought something was suspicious and reported about it. there are many articles exposing fox news andother top magazines and tv stations for reporting news that has been altered by the US govt. Its all exposed by MSNBC and CNBC. it seems they are the last trueindependent journalists

If anyone on this board can tell me they know one person who has been directly affected in any way by this government "spying," then I will quit thisboard. I like the fact the government is watching, because as long as you don't do stupid stuff, then you have NOTHING to worry about.

I absolutely hate this train of thought. and just to answer your question, the gov made it legal to take you out of your home and tell no one nothing. Why?

Band member #2.

The American founding fathers would be rolling in their graves if they could hear you idiots talk like this.

Y'all are just begging for fascism.

Heres another thought...why don't we just get rid of the Constitution totally?

All it does is hamper the government from doing their job effectively, with all of those restrictions of power, protections of rights and complex statues?

If you don't do "stupid stuff" you have nothing to worry about....Lets just let the government do whats best and everything will be OK.
