Does Niketalk need a more strict join policy?

I swear, everyday i see more and more tools on this board everyday, like the dude who thought it was gay to have your arm around someone in a picture.

Its not just this, but the immaturity and childishness on this board is getting stronger everyday.

Am I mad? Maybe a bit, seeing as how this used to be a (somewhat) mature community, and seeing it dwindle everyday is a little disappointing.

I know many you gentlemen can relate to what I am saying.

Discuss.

Drinkin aint got nuttin to do wit NT. I think theres just a lot immature youngin's.

I don't know if that will help much to be honest. Things have changed. All of the older members no longer visit the site because they'vemoved on from collecting shoes. I keep in touch with a few of the members I've met in 2001-2002, and they haven't post here in years, just moved onand trying to better their careers.

I think it's quite lame how people have 'stash away' screen names to get ready to come back to a place they're unwanted at.
 
18 should be the cut-off IMO..

We can't have dudes like Geronimo up in here taking up like 1/6 of all the posts on NT

But for all of you that said, "Yes, there should be a more stricter join policy" then how would you go about doing this? There doesn't seem likea very good way that would be hard to get around, ya know?
 
I really wish there was a General for older NT'ers here. I'm sick of reading about show-and-tell at school, or "NT I just dropped some kids off atthe pool", or "NT should I ask this girl to prom? vol. no pics". Seriously, a board for more mature NT'ers would be ideal. I've beensaying this for years to deaf ears...

But related ... I think that niketalk , due to popularity , has indirectly recruited some immature members , but what can we do ?? Make an adult version ofniketalk ??
 
You are right. There are way too many BS threads and people just looking for attention. I guess you just gotta deal with it b/c there isn't much that canbe done
 
Since I stopped buying shoes NT has become strictly a source of entertainment...so I couldn't care less.
