Bill O'Reilly Blasts Jay-Z & Young Jeezy For Their Anti Bush Rhymes On Stage!

^thats not what the conversation is about...stick to the subject...its about bill O'reilly blasting jayz and jeezy, etc.....not what u talking about..

im going to make this short and easy.

you EARN respect its not given to nobody no matter who it is.

rap is all about word play and you got fooled by the word play white lies are small lies.(and we all know small lies turn into epic sized lies the longer you lie)

It's more a matter of respecting the title/position than the man himself. It doesn't mean you can't voice your displeasures through protests/etc;again, I was talking about the shoe-throwing incident/glorifying that incident.

I already addressed my getting "fooled" by the wordplay...I understand.

first off... that analogy makes no sense... theres only 1 former president... that doesnt change no matter who won the election... they're not dissin mccain... they're dissin bush... bush was wack no matter what color u are... i kno plenty of white folks who hate bush... so u can flush that hypocrite !!%% right along wit ur flawed logic...
Ok, since you obviously can't put 2 and 2 together, how about I give you a different example. If a country music star had came out with a song talking #*** on Obama just as Ludacris did a few months ago on McCain, it would be labeled as racist and people would be calling for his head. Does that make sense to you now?
if its a song about obama being a bad candidate due to his decisions, then how would that be racist?

As far as respecting Bush goes, Mark Twain once said "Love your country always, and your government when it deserves it." I think that fits.

my bad didnt see your last post but you have to be able see the difference between the man and the position. holding the title mean nothing to meif you dont uphold what it stands for and i dont believe that bush had the best interest of this country in mind. once again i respect the position just notsome of the men who has sit in it. and i believe jay (and maybe jeezy

Fox News always pushing some bogus false outrage bs on their station. Its really to a point that im not even bothered because its so common. Their agendas[propaganda] are so clear cut and they try to peddle it to the masses as "legitimate news". The same station talking about post racial identitypolitics were the same organization that labeled Obama's wife as his "baby mama" and called a pound a "terrorist fist jab".

pretty much... anybody defending this bs is on some other ++$#...

So when they finish the rest of the verse and talk about how Jay-z mentions NO RACISM a million times in that verse, then ill care. Fox needs needs to beboycotted and shut down 1960 style. I dont even care if they stop Family Guy or The Simpson's (two o my favorite shows) they fell off a long time agoanyway.

nothing surprising. white republicans thinking they know something about the black community. jay and jeezy didnt say anything that folks haven't beensaying already.

Understood and I completely see where you're coming from. I just think for me, throwing a shoe at ANY sitting US President is neverrespectful. It really has nothing to do with Bush to me---Obama could be the best or worst President ever, but me personally...I would never condone throwingthings at him while he holds the title of President.

Back on topic though...that's the media for you. Showing the part of an interview/clip that forwards their ideals (in this case Fox's highlyconservative ones) instead of letting the people view the entire clip and judge for themselves.

I agree with those saying O'Reilly/Miller got off topic/their comments about black single parents/etc. had absolutely nothing to do w/the Jay-Z/Young Jeezy topic.

That said, I don't disagree with O'Reilly's stance on this one. PRAISING the person who threw shoes at Bush? He was the President of the US and no matter how much you disagree with him, he deserves respect for his title. Second, "white lies"...because of course any "lies" by the Bush administration automatically becomes "white" lies. If these rappers/people are so excited about Obama bringing people together/the country being unified (which I agree with), there's no point to this.

This is 100% true.

Jay was just lyrics though. And it wasn't that BAD. "No more Bush" is not that bad. But Jeezy... are you serious? That was an embarrassment. Butit's not like anyone expected any thing else from him.

I'm not a Bush fan and I do feel that he's one of our worst presidents to dat, but just because you don't like him doesn't mean everyoneagrees. Its real easy to blame every thing at the man in front of the camera. With that said, Jeezy's comment was out of line IMO. Makes him and Hip Hoplook bad. People need to learn how to express themselves in public, especially during an event like this.

Fox News is a joke. O'Reilly only puts this stuff out to rile people up. No pun intended.

I didnt like how in the second video they tried to discredit Obama by condemning him for allowing Jay_z to sit in the VIP area during the inauguration. Thatwas kind of a cheap shot and came across to me as pathetic.

I have listened to O'Reilly on the radio and he isn't nearly as bad as he is on TV. He obviously has that little lean to the right, however he is supercritical of EVERYONE on his radio show, Republican, Democrat, black/white, whatever. He acts like that on his television show because it is more of aperformance, it's theatrical and, like DaComeUP said, to rile people up.

However IMO Jeezy made himself sound salty and kind of dumb by thanking the guy who threw the shoes at Bush. Yeah he was the "worst" presidentwe've ever had, but by saying some dumb *%%! like that, he makes himself sound strait up stupid. I don't agree with them going at Jay-Z though, theyfound what they thought to be the most racist sounding lines in that song and posted it. In reality, those lines weren't that bad in the first place.

I dont agree with the rappers. this disrespect of our president doesnt really make us look good to foreign countries. We always have to be respectful of ourpresident in my opinion, even if we disagree with the decisions he makes.
