I was questioning if it was going to be worth driving 20 hours each way only to be there for 20 hours...
2 to 1 driving to visiting usually aren't good odds

But it was soooooooo worth it.
It was damn cold, but I got chills for another reason.

Subway station was PACKED!

There was a dude in there when it collapsed

Wasn't even close...but it didn't even matter.

Bush finally leaving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sniper on the roof already saw ya'll.

Glad you had a good time.

I went down there for the inauguration too. What's usually a 30 min drive home from the national mall, ended up being a 2 hour metro ride.

No thread jack but heres a couple pics I took.

oh yea man. took an hour to get out of the subway station when we arrived, then another hour just to get into the station after

0 arrests too

everybody was in a great mood.

haha, end up finding a place to stay.

i went too and i swear at one point in the metro station i my feet weren't even on the ground and I was moving. did anyone else playgrabass when they were moving around?

yea, we found a place to stay...it was actually really easy. $120 for 2 full size beds in alexandria...10 min subway ride.

Good stuff. Me and my fam were standing at the top of that hill beside the Washington Monument, hella far away but jumbotron ftw. Came up from NC on Mon.went back on Wed. I wish we would've got up their earlier and made it to some more events, but it was an amazing experience nonetheless.
