Im a fan or the jordan 1 and i like the recent influx of 1's being released lately. but the jordan low phats are bothering me. the toe looks ******ed andthe string aint hot. JB woul make a whole lot more money wit just keeping things plain and simple. My question is does JB actually benefit from changing styleof the shoe. and if not: Y do it?

Yes because if they didnt they wouldnt do it. Six Rings and Fusions are selling obviously. Doing them phats are just have other than J heads come to JB.

the bred low and royal blue low phats are

Never like low 1's. And of course JB benefits from creating the phats because now they have a bigger target consumer base (i.e. skaters.)

I like only the b/red and blk royal phats. Not a fan of em. JB obviously benefits cuz some sneaker illiterate people buy em.

i actually like the phat 1 and dude ^ is right because they are super comfy. i copped the black & reds.

I have northside 1s and The phats are more comfortable with that tongue and whats the difference besides a phat tongue.

they had a thread wit those and the 6 rings lakers, they arent too bad. i think the best colorways they got tho are the blk/red, blk/royal, and the 2 with theelephant print (the ones that resemble the III's)

only 2 cw's of this shoe are nice. dont have a pair but it seems like the shoe would be really comfortable.

They are way more comfortable than AJ1 lows. The black/red are a good option for those of us who don't wear high top sneakers w/ shorts.

i dig the phats but don't have heart to purchase them and give in to the whole "fusion" concept (fusions, spizikes, phats, damn... even the teamjordans are becoming fusions of the classics)
