thats crazy your experience was the way it was. he's a celebrity and remember,he's been a celebrity his whole life and as he gets older, im sure hegets tired of people always in his face wanting autographs and pics. as for the shoes, im sure he's tired of signing shoes that came out almost 15 yearsago and were not th best anyway. hopefully if you meet him again it would be different. when i was at his camp at UNC, he wasnt THAT bad but you can tellhe's tired of people asking for autographs every five minutes. imagine if you had someone approaching you "literally" everyday for a autograph,im sure everyone would get tired of it at some point.
 
ive never meet the man personally but some of my friends have. all my friends that have meet him have said hes a jerk but he has every right to be one. hes inthe public eye 24/7 its gotta get old having people ask for autographs all the time. i respect mj as a basketball player but i do not respect him as a person.

A few years ago, Keon Clark told me the same thing. He said he asked MJ to sign his sons baby shoes and MJ responded with "Who the hell areyou"? and walked away. He said he met him a couple times after that and he (Keon) snubbed/ignored him (MJ). lol @ Keon ignoring the greatness.
 
Some MJ-worshiping MOD is gonna have this locked up in NO TIME.
Recalled a few incidents where a topic like this came out, and they didn't miss.

Think of it this way, if he can treat some of his loyal fans like this, why would he not support the idea of feeding them fusions?

The equation is simple:

REVENUE (fusions, hybrids...everything ever made by Nike with a Jumpman logo )
less: EXPENSES (cheap materials)

Enormous profit (MJ gets a % cut)


I'm glad some of you got to see the real side of these things, just because you worship him doesn't necessarily mean that he will like you. Bottomline, the Jordan releases nowadays is an indication of how much he cares about his fans.
 
just sign the shoes and be done. he didnt have to say anything or be a jerk. As far as him being in the public eye 24/7 well what did he expect. He doesnt haveto be a jerk just be decent.

Was your friend wearing the shoes? Come on man. How would you feel if someone you do not know suddenly took off his shoes which he was walking around in pushedthem in your face and asked you to smell them. That is basically what your friend was asking him to do right?
 
look at the Jordan loyalists flocking to defend his personality! Hahahaha!

I only wear some Jordan stuff FOR BALL ONLY cause MJ represents on-court greatness, and Ray Allen is my favorite player of all time (and an OUTSTANDING humanbeing off the court).

But yeah, Jordan is a douche. Screw him.

Once Ray retires, I probably won't be as into J's or inclined to give the guy money.
 
ask d-wade for an auto and i'll bet you he signs it, i met d-wade 4 times, and all 4 times he signed for me... or maybe i cought d-wade on the good days
 
didn't meet Michael or anything but I was about 4 rows behind him a couple months ago when the Bobcats came to the Garden and played the Knicks. Securitywasn't leting people come around him or try and take pictures from far, etc. Some kid snuck passed through security and tapped Michael, MJ turned around,gave em a pound and then the kid started running from security. Michael also took his time out to take a picture with some young kids that were in the 1st rowtoo. Seemed to talk to everybody around em and didn't mind people coming up to him even tho security was making sure nobody did.
