i dont think they are going out of business cause didnt they just start the eastbay vault thing like this past year or so? besides they are owned byfootlocker and unless footlocker is filing for bankruptcy, then i dont think that eastbay will close

Champs, Footlocker, Eastbay and Footaction are all owned by the same ppl. I think this year one or two may go under in 09. Thats my prediction

I think they just were just clearing out stock, but who knows. It seems like they'd be the last to go down, since they don't have any store fronts or aton of employees. Shoot, I hope Eastbay doesn't close, that's part of my childhood right there. Since I grew up in a pretty isolated place, Eastbaycatalogs were one of the main sources of info about sneakers that I had as a kid.
