AIR JORDAN REST IN PEACE

yeah man idk what is the matter with JB, i wish i could call mike and be like yo, money, whats the deal??? lol

I don't know if CDP should have existed or not, I think if Jb was interest in profit they could've made the same amount coming out with singleretro's the public was interested in, unlike the higher end of the 23 (i.e 22's, 21's etc.etc.) I mean if the 2009's are going to go for 190and spizikes for 175, fusions from135-150....Single retro's could've came out once a month between those price ranges (135-190) and people would havecop'd. Just my opinion because i dont know about you but I can stand spizikes, but the fusions, the .5's, and the true flights are just hurting me andkeeping my closet looking the same. I mean yea i cop'd some CDP's but it's hot and cold i mean how could you go wrong with packs like the11/12's, 10/13's, 7/16's, 6/17's, but then the 22/1's or 21/2's weren't really worth 310$ and then all the rest of the packs youwere only interested in the lower retros like the 3's, 4's, 5's, 9's...and the other half of the pack was sitting in my closet and on ebay aweek later.

I keep hearing this... 2010 is the 25th Anniversary of JB so i'm very optimistic about JBs near future. I expect hot CWs of the Jordan models we all loveto drop in '10 and a creative release scheme to go along with it. I just hope the qualtity improves.

yeah but they take away from how cool the original numbered Jordan's were by continuously rehashing crappy versions of them. how unoriginal are they nowthat they have fusions, retros, and even the new Topflights look like Frankenstein VII's.

trust i can feel it some good stuff will come in the next few years.
so all i gota do is save some money till then.

Depending on what path this failing economy takes, we could see a lot of major companies going out of business in the next few years if things don't startto change for the better.

most everything changes and so will jb. whether for good or bad, only time will tell.

i'm stickin w/ retros because imo, most fusions are ugly and i'm not into buying cracked, crusty, yellow, og's, no matter how overpriced they are.

this economy's situation, jb might be forced to release all the heat they've been keeping for themselves down the road. this is one for sure way theywill make alot of money. right now they are throwing releases with hints of the actual infrared with the hybrids and the max orange i's. if people wouldstop buying these jb would make no money and and have to release the actual infrared which would definitely make money.......

There is really so much i can say,and it basically agrees with everything you said.

i am a posiive person and i just gotta hope for some good releases...

thats all the average person with no direct connection to JB .....

so wait....like you have been since 85'

you no JB will give you something to buy....

RIP Jordan Brand. They have gone to making garbage. This is not reaching out to the ones that stood by so many years.

i agree with this article 100% in that the fusions and all that other bunk is not worth my time. straight goods

JB is definately moving toward a different crowd of people. Not only now are they coming out with too many colorways too quickyl, fusions, hybrids, etc, butthey are targeting girls sizes as well. Every once in awhile, about 2 or 3 years ago, they'd release a girl's colorway. Now, they come out with agirl's colorway for just about every colorway in a men's shoe.

SMH.

One thing is for sure, whether you are a new collector or an addict, there is no way that you can pass up a Retro during these times. With the bombardment of100s of color-ways of fusions and hybrids, there is only one way to stay true and safe. Collect OGs or Retros!" -KicksOnFire.com

Agree a 100% with that statement, you new collectors can keep the new garbage, at least to me the XX3's went out with a bang.

again for the Th billionth time. jb is the number one selling company in the sneaker industry. if you look at nikes monthly sneaker selling report, jb is ontop each and every month.
I'm an og from way back when. and like you kids i hate how they have saturated the market, but what can i do? i'm just a consumer and jb isn'tabout listening to what we have to say, they just sit around and say "they would like this because of such and such" no matter how much we complain, argue etc we wont get what we want. and jb knows were not satisfied, but so long as we continue to buy, they could care less. the air Jordan is my favorite alltime shoe. so my advice to those who hates the directions there going in, just stick to the stuff you really admire. like me, I love my og's, the 94retroes, my 2001 retroes, a few packs here and there not many....and that's it. you don't have to agree nor like it all, just like what gets yourattention. trust me you will be happy.
