Official Nike Breast Cancer Thread - Volume It deserves its own Thread

I have lots of cancer in my family too...my aunt was just diagnosed with liver cancer on Monday....she is only 62 way too young...

I would love to purchase a pair.

One of my aunts died of complications due to breast cancer about five years ago. And now, just in October, my other aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer.

If there is anyone out there who would be willing to help me get a pair please PM me.

Just called HoH again and they are still saying Feb 1st release (Sunday) No wristbands, first come - first serve.

No confirmation of number pairs they have/will have.

This is also something that is near and dear to me, my cousin is in remission now. I really need a pair and if there is anyone who could help me out and getme a pair i would GREATLY appreciate it. Please hit me up on PM.

This is for a great cause. Keep it out of the hands of resellers!!!!!!!!!!

But I'm sure they would make it so it would be hard for regular folks to get them either by pricing them too high or
limiting the availability.

RIP to Kay Yow, i read that she has been fighting this since the late 80's, she's truly a fighter and warrior.
Here's my post from the other thread, something functional cause i wear running shoes more often then basketball shoes, even
though I know she was a basketball coach. Living out here in New Mexico i know there's no way I'm getting
a chance to purchase some shoes that have limited availability without paying an absurd amount of $.

While I definitely think that the shoe itself is quite lovely, what really makes me want this shoe is the Yow patch. I think Nike could make a great move byoffering the option of adding the Jimmy V or Kay Yow patches when they put the Hyperdunk up this spring. For like 5 or 10 dollars, you could add the patchwith proceeds going directly to the foundation. Now I know this isn't going to happen, but it would show a great commitment and make me less scowly.

Now what sizes are the HD's dropping in? Is it just womens sizes or will they have mens sizes also?

My wife likes the chips more so I think we will be ok. I just don't know about showing up because I am having a party for the UFC fight at my crib.....

Damn.

my sediments exactly

I was with FunkDoctor last night and we talked about these.
If im there and pickup a pair im gonna make an ebay doantion auction for them.

Whatever "profit" is made will go straight to a few churches/hospitals that have or had cancer patients.
ill keep $10 for gas/food from it but thats it.

I have mixed feelings about this but in the end I think whoever bids is willing to help out the cause.
ill post the auction on NT, and regardless if theres a $5 profit or a few hundred, itll be donated.
