These are growing on a lot of people. I think the color is nice but can't get over that heel like most people and of course the price tag.

i like and copped a pair of these and there are not as bad as everybody is making them out to be. yes , the price is high but the limited 23's were thesame price and yes
they are different but so was the 23's when they came out. the thing is everybody is hatin on them without giving them a chance as they did with the23's and look how that turned out.
watch and wait , the same people who is hatin on them now will be the same people who is buying a pair in a few months.
if you remeber when we were all waiting for pictures of the 23's to release and all the hype that was built up for them and finally we got the pictures
and everybody and there mother was freaking out and hatin ( and don't lie you know you were ) at how the shoe turned out.
the first thing people said was what the hell is that fin on the back of the shoe and the second thing was how could jordan give us this shoe as the 23rd shoe.
people were very disappointed at the shoes but that soon changed when the first pairs were limited and the prices were $2000 then people loved them just asfast as they hated
them.
now iam not saying these 2009's are like or as good as the 23's but what i am saying is in a few months most of the people here in this post who ishatin will have a pair.

It's official. The AJ 2009 is hot. Bottom line. The whole presentation is on point from the "carbon-paper" looking paper inside the boxprotecting the shoe, to the size 11.5 shoe trees in the shoe, to the box itself...and then the sneakers in it's self are hot...especially #1 when you getthem in your hand and especially #2 when you put them on your feet. And I'm just talkling aesthetics. Bottom line, if you have not had the shoe in yourpossession for at least 2 hours...there is no way you can legitimately critique and criticize the shoe: you simply are just talking.

I'm glad some people are respecting these shoes. Yes they are not a flashy new crazy idea...instead they are a refined tool for playing ball in...just atMJ would have wanted. This shoe is slick like MJ, the shoe has obviously matured along with Jordan's years and that has been reflected in the designschosen. This is just another step in the progression.
All in all its a smooth looking shoe that will be very very nice to play in and down the road a lot of people are going to be craving retro's of them...notall but a lot will, I means its a Jordan sneaker...they usually end up that way..

Junk. And the comparison to the XX3 is COMPLETELY OFF BASE. The XX3's were crazy different, with all the stitching, the fin, the little details whichmake a Jordan sig so great. BUT, that was the LAST of the line. The 2009's won't grow on people the same way as the XX3's because it's aninferior product. End of story. It's bland, and if I were wearing these on the street, no one would know I was wearing a Jordan. LAME.

I agree somewhat, but i thought that one of the basis of the line was to have outstanding performance as well as look great or be trend-setting. Thats why theshoe was first banned because it stood out from everybody else's right (correct me if im wrong)? And wasn't the style/looks the main reason why peoplethat don't even ball started wearing them? It was targeted to be played in as well as shown off off-the-court.

i got my s23s yesterday and from what little time i had them on my feet they felt very comfortable. the cushioning was nice, the toe box hadplenty of room, and the bottoms seemed to have nice grip. so i would say these will be very nice ball shoes, but they really look like a 2009 xiv. i reallylike the marble midsole, the feel of the satin, and the how comfortable the shoe is, but like i said it really resembles a xiv alot.

I got my pair in from from ndc/flight club. After thoroughly inspecting them for about 10 minutes straight and then trying them on (just to make sure Iwasn't spazing)...
THESE SHOES ARE MOTHERF*****G AWESOME!!!
Looks, detail, support, cushioning, weight, traction... they're all totally mind blowing. I know I'll get killed on here for saying this, but theseblow the 23's out of the park. The The heel lock-down is ridiculous. I haven't wore them for sport, but I can easily see these being the bestperformance basketball sneaker out of Brand Jordan yet.
But don't get it twisted though, these really sharp looking in person. Grown-man casual at it's fullest! I may end up getting a back up pair down theline because I can definitely see myself wearing these all of the time.

I forgot to mention the traction on them, they feel sticky as hell. I brought them to work to show a few cats who don't really follow kicks too closely,and I was surprised at how many were feeling them. Personally, I still think they look like tux shoes, but I might break them out tomorrow just to see if Isnap any necks.
I buy what I like. I liked the black 22's. I still regret sleeping on the white ones. I liked the 23s from the sketches, so I am not in the majority. I doknow that the only chance to check these out for me was to order them and return if I didnt like them, and these are not going back.
