Joe Johnson: Most underrated Jordan athlete?

Super nice guy, I've spoken with him in the weirdest place, Wal-Mart at like 2:30 in the morning. He's from Little Rock, where I'm at... He alsodrives a Transformer:
Didn't know who this belonged to or whatthis thing was, then bumped into him at WM and figured it all out...

He's got a couple nice PE's, but he got nothing on CP or Melo or Ray.

As a player, he's definitely one of the most underrated in the NBA by the fans. I don't know about "Lebron of the south" or "betterthan Melo" though... That's reachin' a little bit...

Down to earth dude. Definitely underrated. They shouldve kept the old colors though, his PE's would be alot better.
 
not sure how underrated he is anymore....multiple All Star nods puts him in the league's elite. no secret there with him anymore like with his days inphoenix. there are other "distractions" like lebron, kobe etc around but as far as his All Star selections he's right up there with them....so iprobably wont say underrated but merely a quiet performer/assassin
JB's most underrated at the moment= Michael Finely
 
joe johnson is a beast....i always pick him up when i play fantasy basketball...he's just nasty!!!

he's a very nice player but i dont think he is underrated.. he's definitely not overrated but i think he gets the respect he deserves..
 
Have any of you ever met JJ?

I'd be interested to know how he is off the court. I only know what I've read about him, and he seems like a good guy.

To me, the way a player conducts themselves off-court is just as important as how they play on-court, and is a big reason why I will always consider Ray Allenmy favorite player.
 
Maybe because he's playing for the Hawks? Anyways, I do think he is very underrated. At least the Hawks are muched improved over the last 2 years.
 
A few years back I was shooting a freestyle motocross show at the Suns area. During the afternoon, I wandered into their practice gym and found three dudesplaying 21. One of them was exceptionally good, hitting every singe three he put up. This was during a period of time I fell outta the basketball scene, so Ihad no idea who I was watching. Well later that year I was watching the playoffs and that very same dude was tearing it up! Turns out it was Joe Johnson. Ishot a few photos while I was in there and I'll have to search for those files one of these days. Now that I look back on it, I wish I had gotten hisautograph.
 
i would say kevin martin. alot of people dont see him play cause his team is flat out horrbile but he can play wit the best of them.
