NT Detectives I Need Your Help! I'm Not Trying To Lose $600+

Ok so back in september i sold this dude a pair of Lucky 7 SB's...He Paid via paypal, what was funny at the time was that he didnt include an address inhis payment and the name was different from the emailed names, i dont usually sell anything through forums so i ignored that detail (yes i take the blame) andthat voided my seller protection from paypal.
Anyway i send out the shoes with $500 insurance with DHL they were delivered, end of story right?
WRONG

A few weeks ago i get an email which i thought was a scam email, but was not saying that the payment was trying to be reversed...i thought-*+*?
So i called paypal, they looked into it, they said i was not covered by their seller protection cause of the address, and they ruled in his order, so he nowhas the shoes and in less than 100 days(i have 120 to pay paypal the outstanding balance) he will have all his money back. Thats just ludicrous.

So what im going to do is give you all the details that i could cook up through my emails etc:

Only update i can provide is that i was able to contact the apartment complex manager, will hear from him tomorrow who knows if that will help...

Yeah man, i need to email the 144 NikeTalker's that my store hooked up with Air Sturctures back last january all for Retail as it should be... So if any ofyou remember and can help out please do, I have helped this community with information, and new releases for retail whenever i could.

And Yes LMAO, i do resemble scott storch, funny storry my business partner just teamed up with scott's engineer to mixdown his new records for some jiveartists... anyhow i digress..

I remember back in the day around 2004 here on NT, they had a post where some dude got his jordans stolen or frauded, and got a posse together to go beat thedude down and had pics, said this little kid just dropped all the boxes out the window and ran or something... It's just frustrating, i mean the dude hashis shoes...usually in fraud cases, the seller ships first before payment - auto fail, and never gets paid. But here dude paid so i shipped now he wants moneyback when hes got the shoes, you have to be kidding, this is just the end point for me ever selling anything over the internet that we do not get with our Nikeaccount at my store.

Hope you get your money back....I got frauded years ago (buyer did the same exact thing to me) and my paypal account is STILL limited and pretty much locked.


%*$$ Paypal. Hope you get your $600 though, thats faulty.
 
did google search for all those "names" and nothing has came up. I live in hollywood, CA...glendora is not to far. will keep u posted

I wish i could administer a whooping. My buddy was telling me that this is considered interstate fraud, and the FBI gets involved in stuff like that.. ibelieve its mail fraud, identity fraud, i dont really know what else. SMH at paypal not even telling me what i can do at this point, ive been faxing them allmy records from DHL.

OP if u want to get your money back I know the steps to get it back.the same thing happened to me with an iphone and ipod and through paypal dude almost gotaway with $725.

Hit me up and ill break down what u need to do to get that bread back through paypal.
 
FinesseSosa, i hit you up via pm. My buddy got a police detective to get on the case that owed him a favor. We will see what happens, havent gotten a call backfrom the apartment manager yet, il probably buzz him this afternoon.
 
i dont understand how paypal can go through with these practices? protection policy or NOTHING???? they have zero common sense.. It's just sad imo whatthey get away with
 
let me get this straight, dude paid you 600 for some sb's. you get an email saying you got to refund dude the 600. so are you getting the sb's bacK?
 
^^ NO im not thats the problem, yes as crazy as this sounds as it stands now. He would not only have my SB's but have all the money he paid for themreturned to him

i dont do alot of selling through paypal, but why does dude get to keep both the shoes and get your money? if dude was unsatisfied, wouldnt he have emailed youimmediately and told you he wants his money back? confusing. this is probably why i dont do that many transactions on paypal
