such a great album just to chill out to. The beats and AZ's voice/lyrics, IMO this album doesnt get as much props as it should.

But yea, Do Or Die is a work of art. I probably listen to it more than Illmatic.
 
'Rather Unique' is probably my fav. AZ solo joint ever.

I'm not a huge fan of aziatic compared to Doe or Die. it's got some nice songs on there but i don't like the "radio-friendly" joints onit...it's simply not AZ's forte. however a radio track like "Sugar Hill"...

Yea Aziatic was very mediocre. A few gems and a few of the radio friendly joints are actually decent but as an album, ehhh. Now The Format...
 
One of my favorite albums from my favorite rappers. One of the most under-rated dudes to ever do it.
 
Since AZ is a poormans NaS, I guess I can almost agree with you on this being a poormans Illmatic.

I don't really remember ANYthing else, I haven't listened to this album ALL the way through since 5th or 6th grade, had the CD in high school but justfor old times sake, I don't remember takin the wrapping off . . . I haven't even downloaded this !*#+

, besides this album I have NO respect forANY of his other work outside maybe 10 songs (half of those have Nas on them) . . .

Really? Aziatic is my second favorite album from him.... I even thought the so called filler songs were dope...
 
Uncut Raw and Doe or Die are probably my favorite tracks on the album.
