Today is the 50th Anniversary of the "Day the Music Died"..if anyone cares..

Big loss....but truthfully coming from someone who listens to "rockabilly" music and what not i feel that it really wasnt as big as they make itseem...richie valen was ehh. Big Bopper was pretty good, but Buddy Holly had something going for himself. He is the only one who would not of really fallen offin the transition faze of rock and roll. BUT R.I.P really is a sad day.

R.I.P to the three of them. They had a phenomenal impact on those who came after them.

Yet we have a hundred threads for every dead rapper.

That's because rappers are relevant to us. Buddy Holly and Big Bopper aren't. Nothing against them but those guys didn't impact the lives of anyone under 60. Unless you've purchased some of their music recently on cd.
You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

no one cares
Ridiculous.

^^Irony indeed. I took a history of music class my freshman year in college and learned about all these cats. I still bump Buddy Holly on the weekly. RIP.
