Reminds me of a pair of Nike Zoom Jet ( Brett Farve )

Man, breaking these shoes in was a big pain in the *$!. They are narrow width-wise, but perfect length-wise, meaning I couldn't go up a 0.5 because theywould be too long then. I actually bought one of those shoe-stretchers to stretch them out laterally as the first time I wore them the skin rubbed off some onmy right little toe. Left the stretcher in for 3 straight days on the right shoe (left shoe was fine from day 1) and now they fit perfectly. Supercomfortable, great support, all-in-all an amazing cross-trainer. I've had multiple people ask me where I got these at the gym.

eastbay has the speed destroyers (sku 8976) not the speed nubbys (sku 8977)

the uppers are the same - but built on different outsoles
-nubby's are "softer" rubber bottom "cross trainer style " turf shoes designed to be used on surfaces in addition to turf
-destroyers are traditional "hard rubber/plastic turf shoes designed for turf/grass only

Cheers
As far as Nike football cleats are concerned:
D=detachable, or screw in
TD=is a molded cleat that is fixed
FT=is similar to the TD but is much shorter in length, designed for field turf.

bigosufan,

Nice looking out man, I appreciate it. I'm gonna pick up two pairs of the 001 CW; I always wanted the turf bottoms on a pair of those Super Speeds; theylooked so nice at the college-level and NFL. I'm like you, loving the Nike turf shoes back in the day, like the Zoom Jet, Zoom DBL Go, any of the Vicks,etc. Can't beat a nice-looking turf shoe like those.

Yeah, Eastbay has the Super Speed Destroyers, not the Super Speed Nubbies....you can't use the Destroyers as cross-trainers...
